We took our adopted cat to this place bc they were the most reasonable price and we're a group of students. Not only were they sympathetic and did not force us to get the more costly procedures done at once but they helped us discover if she was spayed free of charge! Baloo loved them and they were lovely, we waited barely 5 mins before being seen! We will only take Baloo here from now on!

Absolutely love this place (as much as one can love going to the vet). They are helpful, kind, understanding and they have some nice touches to make your pet's visit go smoothly (e.g. providing some wet food or treats to help calm/distract your cat).
Possibly the biggest point in their favour apart from the quality of care is that they're open after hours. Regular hours are until 8:00 but even if you need after hours care, there isn't a huge after hours fee like at some vets. That can make the difference between an animal getting the care it needs or suffering until business hours or even having to be put to sleep. So this hospital has my loyalty forever on that basis alone.
They're practical, and they don't push unnecessary tests but they'll explain the pros and cons of different approaches to your animal's care. I've never felt pressured to choose one option over another; they explain and help you find the decision that's right for your family.

Nothing but the greatest things to say about FAH. Their team, their services and the fact that they do 24h emergency care are all the reasons we wouldn't go anywhere else.
You have been there for us with our pets (young and old) and been our saving grace when we needed emergency care for our friends pets while we were cat sitting.
Knowing that you have us covered is always a great relief.

This vet is incredible. I was reminded of this after visiting another clinic with my dog. Some things at this clinic that I love, are that there are individual exam rooms, which is the only place the vet discusses your pet, privately going over & paying your invoice. The vets are all knowledgeable, I trust any of them with my pets. This clinic has also taken in a wild bird I found injured. Amazing people. I will be back, with all of my business.

During my dog's 12.5 year life, I have lived in 6 cities, so had more than 6 different vets. Fredericton Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Reid, is easily one of the top vets I have experienced. My dog has epilepsy, so requires regular expensive blood tests to monitor his medications as well as emergency hospital visits to treat seizure outbreaks. The vets at Fredericton Animal Hospital are always very conscientious at working with me to determine the best procedures to keep my dog healthy and treat his disease at the same time as not pushing unnecessary procedures.The vets, technicians, and receptionists all made efforts to get to know my dog's personality. My dog has spent a few nights in the hospital on two occasions, and both times, the technicians told me stories about his quirky personality traits and how much they enjoyed him. Their compassion and appreciation for my dog always make me confident that he is well cared for when he requires overnight visits at the hospital. I highly recommend Fredericton Animal Hospital.

Recently our Drahthaar had to have surgery to remove an obstruction in his bowel. We normally deal with the Florenceville Vet Clinic (we love them!!), but FAH were taking all their emergency weekend calls at the time. I must say, from start to finish, the FAH were AMAZING!!! They answered all questions and concerns we had and took such good care of Jase. We were so concerned about our boy and they had no problem with us coming down to visit him while he was hospitalized. Even after his release last week, they've called almost daily to check on him and we've emailed back & forth with questions and concerns. The staff are wonderful and the vets top notch. If we lived in Fredericton, the FAH would absolutely be our vet of choice. Thanks for saving our dog's life and being so caring and compassionate.

We experienced the loss of a much loved cat, he was diagnosis with a serious illness. The FAH and Dr. Ali Reid have been there with us through the whole experiences and have surpassed our expectations under the circumstance. They showed compassion, understanding, and provided information to help us understand what was going on. The only thing I was disappointed in, we never received a death certificate(we did receive his paw prints, that was a wonderful touch), the receptionist told my daughter she would get Giff back in a paper bag, not sure how that works, but it didn't sound like a nice way to come home. We paid for a Private Cremation for him, and called The Pet Funeral Home to order Griffith a nice Urn to come home in.

Well, I'd love to say you did an amazing job with my dog who is peeing blood, but when I call your very helpful staff last night, I was told you we're booked solid, I was also told that you don't take other vets clients, which I could not understand considering I don't have a vet. But was suppose to go to the Royal road vet because it is closer to where I live. They were closed, that is why I called you, and was told that I should sit there and wait for some one to show up because if they booked the appointment, some one must be on the way. My buddy in the car could not believe what he was hearing. And so many people I know, bragged about your clinic. So I guess your website is misleading when it says new patients welcome and you're open 24/7 365 days, a year. So yeah, thanks for making me feel like I really want to come back.

We ended up at the Fredericton Animal Hospital when my regular vet told me they didn't have the tools/man power to offer the care I wanted/needed when it came to removing a large tumor from my pugs belly. I was scared to death of putting my little pug under due to the breathing issues pugs have. We made an appointment for a consult and was very impressed with the facilities and the type of care Jasmine would have while in surgery. Out first apt was with Dr. Stone and she was great. No long waiting time to be seen. They sent our treatment plan/estimate to us the same day! With any large surgery of course the cost was high but with a few phone calls and a little tweaking of what we would have done, we were able to have her taken care of. There was something I tried to decline, which they would not, but that shows you how dedicated they are to their quality of care. Jasmine had her surgery yesterday. I am so impressed with the vet techs and the time they took to explain everything to us. Not once did we feel rushed dropping her off or picking her up. Jasmine is on the mend now, thanks to FAH.

I would never take any pet here. A week ago my family home had a fire and our pet were in it. We had rush our 6 month old German Shepard to get looked at. The vet checked her over and then went on to tell me what they has to do. I ask how much this would cost..I was told 900.00. Called my husband to let him know came back in the room and the vet was making up the bill. I told her I could give them 500.00. But was told I had to pay the 900.00. I left with my dog. I feel they are in it for the money and not for the pets.

Recently our Drahthaar had to have surgery to remove an obstruction in his bowel. We normally deal with the Florenceville Vet Clinic (we love them!!), but FAH were taking all their emergency weekend calls at the time. I must say, from start to finish, the FAH were AMAZING!!! They answered all questions and concerns we had and took such good care of Jase. We were so concerned about our boy and they had no problem with us coming down to visit him while he was hospitalized. Even after his release last week, they've called almost daily to check on him and we've emailed back & forth with questions and concerns. The staff are wonderful and the vets top notch. If we lived in Fredericton, the FAH would absolutely be our vet of choice. Thanks for saving our dog's life and being so caring and compassionate.

My cat recently ended up needing an X-ray and she even offered to let me see the X-ray and show me the areas that were swollen, which I thought was neat. Amazing veterinarian.

My ferret was a patient of Dr Stone's. She was amazing with him and very considerate of us during Ronnie's brief and unfortunately fatal illness. I can't recommend her enough.

I will never trust any other vet clinic. The staff at FAH have saved my senior dogs life twice and were the ones to step up and fix a botched spay on my youngest dog. They even neutered my bunny for me. Love FAH and the fact they are open 24/7 now is amazing! I drive from an hour out of town for their amazing care for my animals!

We experienced the loss of a much loved cat, he was diagnosis with a serious illness. The FAH and Dr. Ali Reid have been there with us through the whole experiences and have surpassed our expectations under the circumstance. They showed compassion, understanding, and provided information to help us understand what was going on. The only thing I was disappointed in, we never received a death certificate(we did receive his paw prints, that was a wonderful touch), the receptionist told my daughter she would get Giff back in a paper bag, not sure how that works, but it didn't sound like a nice way to come home. We paid for a Private Cremation for him, and called The Pet Funeral Home to order Griffith a nice Urn to come home in.

Well, I'd love to say you did an amazing job with my dog who is peeing blood, but when I call your very helpful staff last night, I was told you we're booked solid, I was also told that you don't take other vets clients, which I could not understand considering I don't have a vet. But was suppose to go to the Royal road vet because it is closer to where I live. They were closed, that is why I called you, and was told that I should sit there and wait for some one to show up because if they booked the appointment, some one must be on the way. My buddy in the car could not believe what he was hearing. And so many people I know, bragged about your clinic. So I guess your website is misleading when it says new patients welcome and you're open 24/7 365 days, a year. So yeah, thanks for making me feel like I really want to come back.

We ended up at the Fredericton Animal Hospital when my regular vet told me they didn't have the tools/man power to offer the care I wanted/needed when it came to removing a large tumor from my pugs belly. I was scared to death of putting my little pug under due to the breathing issues pugs have. We made an appointment for a consult and was very impressed with the facilities and the type of care Jasmine would have while in surgery. Out first apt was with Dr. Stone and she was great. No long waiting time to be seen. They sent our treatment plan/estimate to us the same day! With any large surgery of course the cost was high but with a few phone calls and a little tweaking of what we would have done, we were able to have her taken care of. There was something I tried to decline, which they would not, but that shows you how dedicated they are to their quality of care. Jasmine had her surgery yesterday. I am so impressed with the vet techs and the time they took to explain everything to us. Not once did we feel rushed dropping her off or picking her up. Jasmine is on the mend now, thanks to FAH.

I would never take any pet here. A week ago my family home had a fire and our pet were in it. We had rush our 6 month old German Shepard to get looked at. The vet checked her over and then went on to tell me what they has to do. I ask how much this would cost..I was told 900.00. Called my husband to let him know came back in the room and the vet was making up the bill. I told her I could give them 500.00. But was told I had to pay the 900.00. I left with my dog. I feel they are in it for the money and not for the pets.
