Absolutely love this clinic! We bring both of our dogs there and we've never had a bad experience.
Our big boy, Rada is very fearful of the vet and has aggressive tendencies when he's scared. Doctor Hobbs-Ford is so paitent with him, it just makes a world of difference.
We've been there, unfortunately, many times, because our younger pup is really good at finding things that she shouldn't eat, and subsequently eating them. But every time, we leave happy because they've taken great care of our kids, and even if our dogs don't love them (the are a vet clinic after all) we certainly do, because we know they truly have our dog's best interest at heart!❤️🐾

So happy with our experience at Mountain Road Animal Hospital! My dog needed to be seen for an infected tooth, and they were able to see us within an hour of calling; they also charged half of what I have paid for an appointment at other clinics. They were able to book my dog in the following day for a full dental and extractions, and I paid hundreds of dollars less than the estimate. The staff are amazing and take the time to listen to your concerns, and answer any questions you have (and patient enough to answer the phone and talk every time you call to check on your pet :)). So pleased that my dog is now healthy and happy, and impressed with the quality of the service. Thank you!

I just wanted to share my great experience with mountain road animal hospital. I lived in canada for 12 years and during that time they cared for 2 of my cats and my dog, they were always extremely helpful, friendly and always went above and beyond. Most recently I moved back to england and bought my dog with me the process is long and tedious and there is a lot of paperwork that needs to be done. I would not of been able to do it with out their support. All their hard work seen my dog safely to england avoiding quarantine. I am truly grateful and hope I can find as great a vet out here for him!!!

Hate is a strong word but I'd have to say I really, really dislike the service here. They try to take all they can from your pocket book to fill their pockets. That's my impression. They tried to have me remove my dogs eye for a scratch on the cornea. Making me feel like it was my only option and as they stated "the most humane thing to do." At $800+ for the procedure. I asked for alternatives which I was given but still made to feel guilty for not having the eye removed. From treatment to eye removal, $750+. Crazy! And they didn't even send her home w eye drops from the first exam. I felt they were VERY insensitive to my dog and only looking out to fill their pockets.

I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Mountain Road Animal Hospital, Especially Dr.Cyr, who did everything she could to save my little boy, Kyzer. . We were referred to AVC in PEI where he was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tonsil. A rare and very aggressive cancer. Kyzer was in advanced stage and with the help of Dr. Cyr, Kyzer passed away peacefully in my arms with his head on my shoulder on Friday February 19th. He was only 5yrs old.

The staff here are the most wonderful, caring, devoted and compassionate people. For over 2 years, Dr Cyr and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to give my beloved Casey-Cat the best possible care for his thyroid cancer and finally, kidney cancer. Dr Cyr diligently consulted with professionals at the college in PEI as well as local specialists. All treatment options were readily made available with in-depth explanations on each. Mountain Road Animal Clinic allowed Casey to be comfortable and happy in all stages of his treatments. Sadly, at the end of November, the difficult decision was made to let my Casey cross the Rainbow Bridge. On that sad day, the compassion did not end. They helped me through my sadness with dignity and allowed me to have the procedure done in my time, I was not rushed and I was able to hold my fella and stay with him for as much time as I needed. The staff's love of animals including my Casey was very evident; their caring was real. They handled him so sweetly and lovingly. The week after, I received a beautiful card with hand-written messages from each of the staff as well as Casey's paw print. I found these gestures to be very heart-warming. I still have Casey's brother (from another mother) and he will be treated here also, as well as any other furbabies I will have in the future. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so very much. I've been taking Sophie here since she was a puppy and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always so friendly and kind. They all have such gentle, loving hearts and you can really see it by the way they interact not only with the fur-babies but also the pet-parents. They always have the patients best interest at heart, which makes me happy and comfortable leaving my fur-babies in their hands. Always so satisfied and happy with every visit. I recommend this place to everyone. The vets and the rest of the staff are all incredibly nice. I have never once felt like I was being taken for a ride as far as getting me to pay for unnecessary tests. They actually care and will call to follow up and see how your pet is doing. I cannot recommend them enough. Their hours are clearly posted and they are affiliated with the clinic in Riverview that is open 24 hours so if you have an emergency when they aren't open, there is another place to go. If anything I would say they have helped me save money by not suggesting anything unnecessary. Have I mentioned how great they are? Kind, compassionate and always friendly.

So happy with our experience at Mountain Road Animal Hospital! My dog needed to be seen for an infected tooth, and they were able to see us within an hour of calling; they also charged half of what I have paid for an appointment at other clinics. I just wanted to share my great experience with mountain road animal hospital. I lived in canada for 12 years and during that time they cared for 2 of my cats and my dog, they were always extremely helpful, friendly and always went above and beyond. (as have my other pets) The Vet was super caring and 'Bird' seemed to be stress free. The week after, I received a beautiful card with hand-written messages from each of the staff as well as Casey's paw print. I found these gestures to be very heart-warming. I still have Casey's brother (from another mother) and he will be treated here also, as well as any other furbabies I will have in the future. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so very much. I've been taking Sophie here since she was a puppy and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always so friendly and kind. They all have such gentle, loving hearts and you can really see it by the way they interact not only with the fur-babies but also the pet-parents. They always have the patients best interest at heart, which makes me happy and comfortable leaving my fur-babies in their hands. Always so satisfied and happy with every visit. Thanks to all the staff at the Mountain Road Animal Hospital for everything!!

I recommend this place to everyone. The vets and the rest of the staff are all incredibly nice. I have never once felt like I was being taken for a ride as far as getting me to pay for unnecessary tests. They actually care and will call to follow up and see how your pet is doing. I cannot recommend them enough. Their hours are clearly posted and they are affiliated with the clinic in Riverview that is open 24 hours so if you have an emergency when they aren't open, there is another place to go. If anything I would say they have helped me save money by not suggesting anything unnecessary. Have I mentioned how great they are? Kind, compassionate and always friendly.

Despite their ugly website, Mountain Road Animal Hospital is my preferred vet in the Moncton area. They are open late on most days, their service is great. They have good vets (several of them), and also have very fair prices. Give them a visit!
