Terrible. They only do it for the money they don’t care about the animals. They wanted to charge me 570$ to get my female kitten fixed when I paid less than half at a better vet for the exact same procedure. The staff at Oromocto Veterinary Hospital are very friendly and professional. In our experience over the past few years, they have shown they genuinely care about the well-being of our pets. I have been to the Oromocto Veterinary Hospital for all my animals. I have been more than satisfied. Dr. Linda Speizer is so caring and she treats my animals as good as hers. She understand when I have concerns and doesn't hesitate to bring my dogs in for a consultation. The staff is also very helpful in taking care of the animals. They wanted to charge me $500.00 plus tax to remove 25 porcupine quills from my dog. I got an other place to do it for half the price. They are well none to be money hungry and take advantage of emotional pet owner. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!! Go somewhere else and save your $$$$. Read Less

Amazing friendly staff. Called three times yesterday and spoke with three different people, each one was polite, friendly, and very helpful when I spoke with them. I have an appointment on Monday to bring my dog in. And I know they are going to treat her great. We've been bringing our animals to Dr Speizer since she took over this practice years ago. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Our entire family gets loving care, thoughtful advice and those personal touches like home phone calls and calling us by name when we visit. My cockatiels wings needed clipped so we called this place and were given a price quote of 20$. After bringing the bird in and after the wings were clipped we were charged 112$!! They said it was because they had "established a relationship with the bird" and future wing clippings would be 20$. We were not told any of this on the phone! We ended up having to pay the full 112$. We will never come here again. Take your pets elsewhere. Read Less

Bunch of money hungry crooks, kept my kitten away from the meds she needed for hours. All because i couldnt get out to Oromocto (again!!) when i had already driven out there for an appointment that morning and they refused to sell them to me because there was NO VET present. This was after they had already told me i could come pick up the meds at that visit if i felt my kitten still needed them. Then they proceed to try to charge me to write a prescription she had already written on an earlier date, and refuse to send it to a vet in Fredericton. It took about 5 hours of phone calls between me and them, the other vet and them for them to agree to let my cat get the meds she needs. They will never get a penny more of our money or any kind of recommendation to our friends other than to stay far away. Read Less

I would like to thank all the staff of OVH for the excellent care our Miss Molly received over the years. Making the decision to say good bye to Molly was the hardest decision I ever had to make. Dr. Legge was so kind, compassionate and although, it was a very busy morning, not once did I feel rushed. He spent quite a while talking and reassuring me. Thanks to April for the huge hug, kind words and advise, which helped in the days following. Thanks to Jen, "Molly's special friend", who went beyond. The sympathy card signed by all the staff meant so much. Today we received a letter from the P.E.I. Veterinary College saying that the OVH made a donation in Molly's name.
