This is the best veterinarian hospital I have ever been to! The staff are all extremely knowledgeable, kind and honest. I had wasted so much money at other vets trying to diagnose an eye issue and within our first visit at Kannon, they had identified the issue. I am new to the area and have been taking my kitten here since I have gotten him. The staff are patient and knowledge and always in a pleasant mood. The veterinarian we typically see is young and passionate about his work. I have never felt rushed or left confused. In my view, this is the best veterinary hospital in Saint John. I bring all three of my fur-babies there for optimal care. Dr. Gehrig explains everything and shows a type of genuine compassion not truly seen in any other animal hospital in Saint John. The fees are more than fair for the services provided. Kannons is a great vet clinic. They always treat my dog well. If I have an issue that is small they don't make me come in and waste money for an appt the staff give me ideas and ways to fix it right off the hop without coming in. The first thing I love is the building. It is all environmentally friendly, very cool! I have been taking my dog here for years. I also have been away off and on and they always fax his records to my 'away vet'. I am usually able to make an appointment without too much wait time. The front desk ladies are nice. Dr M is very kind, I hugely respect her. I know she helped an aquaintance through a really hard time with her dog. You do have to speak up if you want her to check out any of your concerns. I am not sure what tool or techique they use in the back to cut nails... but my boy makes alot of noise so I do his nails now or go elsewhere (my only complaint).  Dr M has helped with getting my pup to lose weight. She gave him a vaccination that was not due for a little bit to save us from needing to come back, loved that initiative. Askem also likes his treats!Overall, great place. Highly recommend. Have had my little guy in to Kannon so many times in the last few months they know him well. They always treat him so nice that he actually looks forward to going! yep gets out of the car and pulls me up to their door. Great friendly staff and the vet is very well spoken and informs you of everything. Very clean and looks better than some restaurants. I would totally recommend them. Read Less
