They refused to see our dog and so did the after hours on-call "service" because of who his vet was. We were forced to take him to Moncton for an xray.

They are all so wonderful here. I'm so happy we found an animal hospital who is so caring, and it doesn't in the least feel like you're being up sold on stuff.

Vet office has been amazing to us anytime we have needed immediate service. Though our last visit we had to put our cat down, the vet was amazing at explaining everything to us over the phone as we were in another province at the time. Waited at the office after closing hours for our decision. Couldn't have asked for more supportive staff in giving their best medical advice over the phone and make the best decision possible! For almost 25 yrs Dr. Whittle went above and beyond to work with us and our animals. Then he sold the practice. Never thought there would be a problem but charges started showing up on bills that should not have been there. I disagreed and said so. We then took a really sick dog in to have 4 tests done, the new owner did only one test. She was in such a hurry to get us out of there she never bothered. Out front I asked twice if she was coming out to talk to me, she never bothered. By her tone and inaction towards our dog she made sure we knew we were no longer welcome. She did give us 2 parting gifts, another extra charge that was never on any other bills. And the next day after I transferred all our dogs to a new vet, she phoned and called me a liar saying I told her not to do the tests. Our new vet did every test we wanted and more. When money and egos start being more important than our animal€s welfare, very unacceptable. Our animals have always come first and she dropped the ball and let her suffer. This nobody should tolerate. Read Less

Not sure what to think. The atmosphere is pleasant enough but it can be quite expensive for the services provided. I believe 3 stars is the best I can do here.

My father's dog recently got very sick and had to be put to sleep. My father is almost 92 and recently had been very sick and had to give up his drivers license. The first time he called the clinic the vet came to the house and checked the dog out and delivered some medication. The second time Dad called, they came and picked up the dog and took him to the hospital and tried to do what they could but there was nothing to be done. They called my father and explained everything very compassionately. Then they offered to come pick him up so he could say goodbye to his dog. They picked Dad up and made sure he got home. Later they delivered a cast of the dogs paw along with his collar. They treated both my dad and his lifelong companion with such respect and compassion. We will never be able to thank them enough for what they did'Read Less
