Summary: Took dog to vet for UTI, advised of options. Chose to do extraction of urine for more accurate results and to prevent contamination. I was given medication to give dog, to calm her. Receptionist (vet assistant?) called before extraction appointment and thought it was for to catch the urine. Advised it wasn't, it was supposed to be for extraction. Came in for extraction appointment, different vet doing it, and advised not enough dose of medication given, a dog my size is usually given more, previous vet must have given lower dose and thought they could do it anyway, but they weren't there. Was not advised it would be a different vet. Had to rebook and buy more medication. Asked receptionist/assistant to confirm correct dose, as I did not want to keep drugging dog and buying more medication if not necessary. Receptionist/assistant said it should work, as that is dose normally given (yet, wasn't given previously). Bring dog to second appointment, still a different vet from original, dog so drugged she pees on floor. Receptionist/assistant takes her in, comes back and says dog has no pee left. Asked if I could give her water and come back, receptionist/assistant says no, it'll be too long a wait. Advises my vet quit (first time telling me this). Says they will call to see if they will continue with extraction or do something else, and get reassessed by new vet. Take dog home, at which point she immediately pees again without any water needed to be given. They did not contact me. No new appointment set. Dog drugged twice with nothing done. Charged for "consultation" plus medication. Nothing done, issue unresolved, vet quit and I was not notified. Total spent $242.10 for literally no reason. Still no contact, and no refund offered. Unprofessional, disorganized, would not recommend. Read Less

It can be very difficult to understand the vet here as he has a thick accent. I also find this vet very brief for the amount of money you are spending to treat your animal.

First of all let me start by saying our pet eventually passed away from her symptoms. We took our dog there who was having trouble breathing. After a brief consultation, x-ray and blood work was performed the vet gave the dog a once over and explained the results. It turns out she had an enlarged heart and fluid around her heart and lungs. We were given a medication and told to come back in 7 days. We were to get a stool sample to checks for heart worms which turned out to be negative. The front desk receptionist called, not the vet! She called to discuss the results of the test and to let us know in a very happy voice that she didn't have heart worms. What she didn't know is our dog was still having severe breathing problems and the meds were not working. After explaining this to her, she said we would need to make an appointment or pay a fee to come in for emergency visit. However, we were called promptly to remind us of an upcoming visit. Unfortunately we had to rush her to an emergency vet service an was informed that chances of survival was low and at that time We made the decision to put her down. The emergency vet informed us that we could have drained the fluid from her cavity which would have helped but was a short term fix. This was never once brought up during the vet visit. Also this same vet gave our dog a complete examination 30 days prior and clean bill of health, how was this possible that her enlarged heart was never discussed with us. It's my opinion that they do as less as possible to get as much money as possible. I could never recommend this service to anyone. I'm not racist but the vet is so hard to understand I never fully understood what he said to us. Read Less
