We have a cottage near Amherst and we take our pets to them all summer and buy their products. Have been going a number of years and had operations done there. Great place. I have neen there for routine needles and other things right down to having very close pets put to sleep. They really have compassionate people there. If you ask a question they can give you an answer. Very clean. I really Like that. People dont realize they have quite a little pet store there as well. I have no problem giving them a 5 star rating.

My partner and I have had several dealings with the Amherst Veterinary Hospital I’m the past several months and everyone was incredible especially Dr Emily Youe who was with us Dec 19 and Jan 19 for the loss of two of our dogs. She was so loving caring and beyond compassionate at such a terrible time. I recommend this hospital highly.

I had to bring my cat in and was very sick. When i had to make that decision to put him down it was very hard. The vet that was on at that time helped me deal with it. The vet was very compassionate and help so much. It was very hard but the compassion from the vet was more then i can say.

Brought mothers sick cat here. We knew it was "Time". Staff were great and caring. But the treatment room we were in we could hear her cat scream out back while getting the IV. They need better doors ...
Brought mothers sick cat here. We knew it was "Time". Staff were great and caring. But the treatment room we were in we could hear her cat scream out back while getting the IV. They need better doors and sound proofing in the room beside the back room. It didn't help the situation.
