I want to thank the Bedford South Pet Focus Veterinary Hospital Team especially Dr. Nancy Kersey for taking care of my Bandit, it was my first visit with them and they showed compassion and dignity right up until the end. I would definitely recommend them. The staff is friendly and very thoughtful in these tough times. I would most certainly come back.

I can't say enough just how amazing Dr. Rushton and his staff at this location are. We were referred to Dr. Rushton by another vet. The diagnoses was not what we were hoping for (Large, inoperable tumour instead of a simple ACL surgery). It was a very tough time for our family but thanks to Dr. Rushton / Staff for their extensive knowledge and level of compassion it made the situation as good as it could have been. This will be the only Vet clinic that we use going forward.

The Dr. and technicians were so helpful in advising me on options and next steps that when I made the 'end of life' decision, I felt I was making the right choice for my best friend. My dogs love coming to Petfocus Bedford South! The entire staff is amazing; friendly, kind and compassionate. They treat your pet like their own and make you feel comfortable as soon as you step in the door. I’ve never had anything but excellent service and advice from this clinic. I wouldn’t take or trust my pets with anyone else!

Dr. Kersey is the best veterinarian my family & I have ever taken our pets to. She's so easy to talk to & her explanations of things are very clear. She shows a lot of empathy & and seems very understanding when we're not able to get every procedure done right away due to limited resources. She's not pushy at all & genuinely seems to care a lot about our pets. The rest of the staff is great too! Always very helpful & friendly.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. Several years ago when our dog was very sick this clinic went over and beyond to help both our dog and support us during this scary time. They could not have done a better job and was very impressed with the customer service communication and the genuine compassion expressed by the whole team. Our dog is healthily and happy now. Every time we visit there is a friendly face at the desk who wants to pet him and ask how he is doing. You can tell the people who work here truly love and care about animals and are in the right career. All in all I highly recommend this clinic!

Took my dog Marley for her first appt this week. She is a senior dog that I recently adopted and she wasn't feeling to good. Dr Sanford was the doctor we saw. She was kind and reassured Marley and myself, we got some medicine, and a check up and it was a great visit! The staff at this clinic are amazing, friendly and efficient.
I volunteer with an animal group and have taken dogs there before, I was so impressed with them I will now take mine there as well. Thanks Bedford South!

We used to take all our babies to this clinic until Dr. Callen left. Always had amazing vet services but did have issues from time to time with customer service. However when addressed, it was ALWAYS resolved. We have since found another clinic but I wouldn't hesitate to use this clinic if we couldn't get into the clinic we now use. The vets here know their stuff. We have seen Dr. Callen and Dr. Brown here. No issues.

My dog Memphis is a 7 year old Bernese/Mastiff cross. He has had TPLO surgery on both of his knees performed by Dr. Rushton at age 2 and 4. Memphis is aging extremely well for a dog of his breeds and I have no doubt it is because of the work done by Dr. Rushton and his team. I would highly recommend them! A perfect combination of knowledge and compassion. Money very well spent!

My dog is not the most well behaved (he can be very nervous); they always provide a great experience for him by making him feel as comfortable and happy as they can!

All people in this clinic are amazing. They are friendly, welcoming, very knowledgeable, and always smiling. We have 12 years of cocker spaniel. She had several serious problems. She had a surgery and several visits to the UPEI animal hospital. We cannot describe our appreciation about Dr Vicky Callen. She is a wonderful person and excellent vet. Thanks you all.

I can't say enough good things about Dr.Rushton and his staff. They saved my dog! Their care and dedication is beyond reproach. Professional, attentive, kind, caring, knowledgeable and skilled, are just a few words that could be used to describe them.I'm grateful to all of them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for one of the best, if not the best ,vet practice out there. Outstanding vet! Dr. Rushton is obviously doing what he loves. It shows in everything he does. From diagnosis to post-op care. He takes much time to explain and discuss things. The techs are amazing as are the rest of the staff. I have full confidence in the care that my dog receives at this clinic. Can't recommend highly enough!

Dr. Ruston has performed two major surgeries on my dog in the last year (TPLO and patella repair), always going above and beyond my expectations. I've always had a really great experience with the doctors and staff here! My dog is not the most well behaved (he can be very nervous); they always provide a great experience for him by making him feel as comfortable and happy as they can!
