I was recommended to take my schnauzer to OVH by my son in law. The place was a beehive of activity but despite the "frenetics", the staff (Kim especially) was able to balance customers, patients and phone calls marvellously. My dogs teeth and snout was cleaned up, patched up, and healed up in a short order with dignity, professionalism and care. We will be returning and spreading the word about this great clinic! We've been using Beverly's service for over a year now and she and her stafff are a true god send to this area. Our first few visits with her were very stressful and emotional and her compassion not only for our pet but for the both of us as well went far beyond what any other vet service that we have used has ever done for us. She is in the this profession for all the right reasons. We have now just adopted another furbaby and she will now be his doctor. We can not say how much we appreciate her abilities and professionalism that she shows for all parties involved. She reasonally saw our new baby and the next day her office called to see how everything was going with our Baillie. They are all a truly great bunch of people with the love for animals. I have worked with Dr. Beverly Greenlaw and her staff for the past four years. I actually live on the other side of the province but travel to this Vet Clinic because I like and know the compassion they have for animals. They do my spay/neuter and care for a TNR program as well as maintenance of any cat that ends up in the Sanctuary. To me , this is the highest place of respect. These cats are unwanted by people but are treated by this staff as individual critters and every one of them matters to this staff. There is NO SUCH thing as unwanted in the eyes of this wonderful crew. They have also helped me look after my own personal pets as well with just as high of standard. Every critter matters. We couldn't be happier than with Oakland vets. They do a lot of work for the SPCA and try to find homes for abandoned and unwanted animals - everything from rats to cats. Their prices are reasonable, the vet Beverly is so good with cats I call her "The cat whisperer." (She's great with dogs too.) Her prices are reasonable and she doesn't provide the most expensive solution first or insist on a bunch of unnecessary tests as some vets have done. Her staff is compassionate and caring. They know how to talk to clients and use sensitivity - unlike another nearby vet's staff ! I would recommend Oakland to everyone.Read Less
