We are a companion animal hospital located in North Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We have been operating since 2008 and provide a full range of medical and surgical veterinary care, from deworming and vaccinations to emergency services. Dr. Julianna Parsons, DVM, CCRT is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. She has been living and working in Cape Breton for the last 8 years and specializes in dogs, cats and other small pets. Her interests include surgery and canine rehabilitation. She and her husband Bill manage the hospital. Dr. Leanna White, DVM is a graduate of Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI. She lives with her husband Robert and Cocker Spaniels, Cooper and Bridget. Her interests include internal medicine and dermatology.

Staff were amazing when we put our 2 dogs down and also when our newest furry friend became very ill. You can tell they do their jobs for the love of the animals.

Dr. Parsons was amazing when my Golden Retriever's abdominal staples which were done at Kennedy Animal Hospital had totally let go - and Kennedy's refused to see her because they were closing.

Dr. Parsons was amazing when my Golden Retriever's abdominal staples which were done at Kennedy Animal Hospital had totally let go - and Kennedy's refused to see her because they were closing.
Then again this September Dr. Parsons treated our beloved Retriever just moments before she passed away.
I have never encountered such warn, kind, and competent hands before and I'll never go to another vet so long as she's around. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Dr. Parsons and her staff are phenomenal.
