For those that rate this clinic as expensive, you clearly have no idea what serious clinics charge... Exam fees are typically 80 to 100 dollars. This hospital gives better than average service and go...

We've been going to Makowal Animal Hospital since we moved to the area 2 1/2 years ago. They've seen us through the loss of our boxer Mojo and then the health challenges with our second boxer Kaia and now the care of our new puppies Lexi and Tucker. They've been great at every step - tons of communication and support through every life stage of our animals. The entire staff is friendly and professional and a pleasure to deal with. Wouldn't take our crew anywhere else.

I brought my dog here for a kennel cough vaccine. While there they talked me into doing a second shot for the parvo virus. That shot is a two stage shot. I paid for a consultation fee the first time a...
I brought my dog here for a kennel cough vaccine. While there they talked me into doing a second shot for the parvo virus. That shot is a two stage shot. I paid for a consultation fee the first time and asked how much the second shot would cost. They told me the price and failed to mention the second consultation fee they charge for the second booster shot. It cost the bones of $100 for the booster shot which was not the price I was told 3 weeks before hand. A second health exam in 3 weeks time difference is also excessive and just a money spin. I won't be returning to this clinic. Very disappointing.
