I had to bring my dog here a few weeks ago as my normal vet was out of town and I live in the area. After blood tests the Angus vet informed me my pup was suffering from pancreatitis. He placed him on 9 pills per day for 10 days. He neglected to tell me my dogs protein levels were half what they were supposed to be - meaning my animal was losing protein into the blood stream. I followed up with my own vet after the 10 days of antibiotics to find his levels in numerous other areas were extremely low. My vet showed me and compared his blood work with the previous vets supposed work. My vet was able to determine that the pancreatitis is probably a secondary illness caused by fat cells building up in the intestines. The vet in Angus advised me to keep my dog on the same food - my vet told me to stop that food immediately and has since prescribed nutrients that should aid his recovery. In my opinion the Angus vet is a joke. His methods seemed to rob my wallet more than aid my pet. This vet likes to speak using large medical terms. I had to ask him more than a few times to please speak to me in plain English. The vet techs were nice but had trouble finding a good vein in my dog. This place is less than recommended and if I could give it minus 18 stars, I would. Hands down the worst experience that could've possibly ended my dogs life had I not done a follow up and more tests with my vet. Please do not waste your money. Please do not waste your time here if you believe your pet to be seriously ill. If you are looking for a great animal clinic try Cookstown. Read Less
