We are so thankful to Dr Mel who has recently become our pet dogs' vet in Arnprior. Sadly we lost our long time vet, Dr Zaleski who had passed away. Frankly we were somewhat nervous about adopting a new vet to care for our beloved pets until our dog TBone had to be seen last week for a couple of 'lumps' that were noticeable on his chest and paw. He was also limping on one of his paws. His checkup was thorough and we were at the clinic for almost an hour. We were proud of TBone as be was on his best behavior, a brave boy during the entire medical visit. Dr Mel explained everything to my husband and I regarding TBone's current ailments in great detail. She prescribed medications and advised us she would follow up in a few days to review his progress. The staff at the clinic were welcoming and caring. It was obvious they loved to work at the clinic and loved all the animals too. When we left the clinic, we were so pleased that the visit had been a success. We recommend Dr. .el and her client highly... Read Less

I had previous great experience with this vet but the last was absolutely horrible. My girlfriend brought out cat in and not only was the vet rude she made her feel like a horrible pet owner. The vet completely misdiagnosed the issue and pushed her to buy their food. After a week we brought our cat to another vet to find out that he was basically untreatable and needed to be put down. If you choose to use this vet I strongly suggest requesting Dr Scott and nobody else. Read Less
