Been going here for nearly 20 years and we've never had a bad experience. The staff are so understanding and compassionate. The staff is nice and friendly. Our 3 cats are well taken care of when they visit. My only. Complaint would be that the vet food is quite expensive and perhaps a loyalty card or a long time buyer discount would be beneficial on the sales end. I have been bringing my cats to see Dr. Baker for over 13 years now. She has been absolutely amazing and I don't trust many people with my babies. Even when I couldn't see her the other vets that helped were awesome. I have nothing bad to say. I have moved to Bradford and even though it's quite a drive it's been a really hard decision for me whether to keep doing the drive or switch to someone up here . Finding a vet for our bulldog when we moved here six years ago from out of province was a big deal. Thankfully one of our neighbours suggested Golf Glen and we have been so glad they did! Golf GLEN Veterinary Clinic is the best and I would not go anywhere else. They are so thorough in the care of your pet. Two years ago we lost our beloved Boarder Collie and I was so convinced that I never wanted an other pet but because they made the experience of putting her to sleep such a good one they did everything to lessen our pain. Not only did they take care of Dayna during her 10 years of life but they also went beyond. They kept in touch with us after she was gone and also made a donation to the school of Vetinary care at Gulph University which touched us deeply. My son recently bought a puppy and he has brought so much happiness to our home and of course we looked no further than Golf GLEN Veterinary Clinic . I do honestly love this vet. They saved my 10 month old cat's life by giving him emergency surgery on his broken leg. They took amazing care of him, gave us all the options, and always made sure we knew we had different choices. Put him down, amputate, or surgery. They allowed us to do a payment plan, which they don't normally do, as some people will just run and not pay. The surgeon/vet there, I forget her name, but she was absolutely amazing and so kind. They even gave us a free cat carrier, because we couldn't afford our own.. But the only disappointment was when I had a follow up appointment to see how my cat's leg was doing and they had to give him an xray, in which they charged an extra 160 on top of the 2600 I was already slowly trying to pay off... I did sort of think it would be a 'gratis' check on his leg so we could let him out of his cage, but unfortunately it wasn't. Still, I do love the vet and I'd still suggest the vet to anyone with a new pet. Read Less

After how my friend's dog, who had been hit by a car, was treated I am disgusted with this vet clinic. He was afraid, and hurt and they couldn't handle him. How do you become a vet or vet tech without learning how to manage a scared injured dog? They called him vicious and said the dog wasn't welcome back. When in fact they didn't want to deal with having to sedate him because it was too close to closing time. Told them to take him to the emergency vet and then said if they didn't within 24 hours get him looked at by another vet, they'd be calling about them being "bad owners". Funny thing, the emergency vet found the dog to be quite sweet and no sedation was required. So I'd say it was an issue with the vet, NOT the dog. I'll never take my pets to this vet and will never tell anyone else to use this vet clinic. Read Less
