I've used this clinic in previous years, but as a low income senior, they have priced their services beyond my reach. To have a young, stray male cat neutered, I would first have to pay for two series of vaccinations [Not Voluntary] and only then could he be scheduled for surgery. The vaccinations, surgery, plus tax and the trips back and forth to the clinic would cost me $500. plus. So sadly, this little stray will remain in tact and likely will roam like so many other males in farming country.

I am writing this review (which I never do) as I have never experienced such rude service by the receptionist anywhere in my 45 years. The vets are great but the service at reception is disrespectful ...
I am writing this review (which I never do) as I have never experienced such rude service by the receptionist anywhere in my 45 years. The vets are great but the service at reception is disrespectful and rude. She hung up on me twice for no reason. I was asking about my older dog and because we hadn't been there in 3 years, she would not help and was very rude. I would not recommend this place until they have a more professional staff member working at reception.

This is the worst vet. They do not like cats. They would not even touch my cat. He is declawed ( not by me). Also brought my dog in. Had to wait an hour to get into the appointment. Then the reception...
This is the worst vet. They do not like cats. They would not even touch my cat. He is declawed ( not by me). Also brought my dog in. Had to wait an hour to get into the appointment. Then the receptionist told me to put my dog on the table. My dog was a big Husky mix, way to heavy for me. When I asked for help she refused. Never go to thus vet.

I was going in town and the prices for me have gone crazy, I know go to Avonmore and the vets good and the prices more reasonable.

Not impressed at all. I need a new vet and they refused to take me because my 10 year old dog has heart failure. They told me to go to the other vet again even though I have moved cities and they're not helping aqequately. HORRIBLE customer service.

Unfortunately it was time to make the awful decision that caring pet owners come across. Our 12 yr old cat had to be put down. I came across this vet last year for our other cat and at that time they seemed reasonably priced and compassionate. I was wrong. The vet James Wood was quick and cold. Not knowing what to expect and told us the procedure which seemed very confusing and hurtful (which it was not :) ) When i asked him a question he told me "if I didn't want to do his type of procedure than go somewhere else" I didnt want our family or cat to suffer anymore so I stayed. I wish I would of left. When all was said and done, not even 2 mins of my cats passing, as we were saying our goodbyes and crying he came back in the room, clapped his hands and said "well" I knew that meant he wanted us to leave. We felt so rushed. He had a waiting room full of ppl. I think there is only one room. If his office is not equiped to do this procedure and give the family of beloved animals the needed time to say goodbye, then DON'T book people in, or maybe at the beginning or the and of the day. If your new to this vet, do yourself a favour end run. Trust me you'll be glad you did. Worst bed side manners ever..

Very reasonable rates and the staff treat clients well. You're not treated like just a number. Great with all animals.

Wonderful Vets. They have so much information to share and definitely care for my boy when he is there. :) Reasonably prices and defiantly want the best for your pet :) I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Best vet around. Friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Service and prices are good. Well worth the drive from Cornwall.

Had my dog operated on here and I doubt if I could ever find a better clinic.Very friendly and professional. Would never go anywhere else. Very friendly staff and very reasonable rates. Nice job!!

Very friendly staff, Dr Brian Harrison was great with my dogs. They aren't overly expensive. Lower cost then another vet clinic near Cornwall. Highly recommend these guys.

I've used this clinic in previous years, but as a low income senior, they have priced their services beyond my reach. To have a young, stray male cat neutered, I would first have to pay for two series of vaccinations [Not Voluntary] and only then could he be scheduled for surgery. I am writing this review (which I never do) as I have never experienced such rude service by the receptionist anywhere in my 45 years. The vets are great but the service at reception is disrespectful and rude. She hung up on me twice for no reason. I was asking about my older dog and because we hadn't been there in 3 years, she would not help and was very rude. This is the worst vet. They do not like cats. They would not even touch my cat. He is declawed ( not by me). Also brought my dog in. Had to wait an hour to get into the appointment. Unfortunately it was time to make the awful decision that caring pet owners come across. Our 12 yr old cat had to be put down. I came across this vet last year for our other cat and at that time they seemed reasonably priced and compassionate. I was wrong. The vet James Wood was quick and cold. Wonderful Vets. They have so much information to share and definitely care for my boy when he is there. :) Reasonably prices and defiantly want the best for your pet :) I wouldn't go anywhere else.
