I was looking for a new clinic for my little old lady cat, and we found Aldergrove. The staff are very pleasant, there are barely any wait times, and they take the time to really listen to your concerns and examine your animal. Dr Hibbs was very welcoming, and descriptive with what was going on with Luna. It has been a few days, and she is doing much better now! I don’t want to get into the whole story, but just know that due to the lack of resources and improper equipment my dog died. I felt robbed of my best friend before his time and the lack of sympathy on the doctors behalf was very upsetting. I will not be bringing my other dog to them. The only people that showed sympathy were the reception at the front desk. They are overpriced and if you want to take your chances on this facility that is your decision, but as of now I will be seeking a new vet. Read Less

My dog contracted a fungal infection and the doctors were amazing. They called everyday to see how he was. Because this infection wasn't heard of here they were very interested in researching treatment etc. Read Less

I can always count on Dr. Cornell, Amanda and the entire staff to treat me and Barley with the utmost respect and attention my puppy needs. It is obvious that they love what they do. I can't say enough good things about these guys. From the vet techs, to the vets themselves, all of them do a fantastic job and really care about every pet they treat. The cost of vet visits are often times a deterrent for taking your pet in for help when needed. These guys will work with you on payment plans if needed. Dr. Cornell & Dr. Oster are my go to vets for everything. We have quite a few pets, and they have always been able to accommodate us on same day(somewhat emergency) appointments. All the techs and Reception are friendly and inviting, and I love how they get excited to say hi (and lots of ear scratches!) and see my animals! They give you the time to grieve in sad situations, as well as support. They always give you more than one route to go, and options, while guiding you on what they think is best but not telling you what you NEED to do, which is so refreshing nowadays. This vet office is by far the best ! My dog was in critical condition after he ate an unknown object . The outcome was not looking good at the time. The vet who was in at the time push him to the front of the line and performed surgery. They saved his life! I am forever grateful to this clinic ! Even after surgery everyone who works there was great towards my dog and us. The staff here are great and I would recommend going here for your pets !Read Less

I have been taking Sam to Aldergrove Animal Hospital since he was a puppy and I cannot imagine trusting his care to anyone else. Everyone from the staff, vet techs to Veterinarians go above and beyond and truly care about the animals and the owners. They do follow up calls to see how Sam is doing after a visit there, they spoil him with love and attention to ease his anxiety of being there, they take the time to explain things and never make me feel silly for questions or concerns that I have, no matter how trivial. Sam is now 7 and even though we moved over half an hour away we still continue to make the drive there for all our vet needs. Everyone there is amazing but I would like to make special note to Amanda and Dr. Hibbs. They are like family to us now and I know I can speak for Sam in saying that he loves them very much! 4 of my dogs and 1 cat have been cared for by the Aldergrove Staff. They are like family. They care. They are sincere. They are friendly and they know how to communicate with you. I have since moved to Toronto and use a new vet. Its not the same. Not nearly as good. I can't say enough about Aldergrove Animal Clinic. If at all possible I would never go to another clinic. Everyone at Aldergrove has been and continues to be an amazing team of professionals. They have cared for my two aging Siamese through many senior issues including a heart attack (and brought my boy back to life) to kidney disease in my boy (ongoing), cancer in my girl (and then the loss of my girl), as well as supporting me during the health concerns and passing of my human family members. well i brought my Dachshund there just over a year ago and the female vet advised me to euthanize her because she probably wouldnt make it through the night. She wanted us to leave her with them overnight, in a cage, all by herself! Of course we refused and i told her there was NO WAY my dog was going to DIE!! She tried her best to convince us that she was going to. We took our dog home and she is still alive, bouncing when she runs, eating, drinking and is 17 yrs old. We recently had her checked at our new vet and was told yes she is definitely a senior with senior issues (very similar to my 90 yr old mom) but she has a good strong heart beat and is doing quite well for her age. Can u imagine if we had of listened to that dumb girl vet and let her kill our dog!!!! Aughhhh.....that was my last visit to Aldergrove Animal Clinic,,,,,EVER!!!!Read Less
