I wish to formally file a complaint with Beaverton Crossroads located at 1360 Simcoe Street Beaverton Ontario L0K 1A0. The charge is inhumane treatment of my dog. We had an appointment for Chloe to have her anal glands emptied and arrived 15 minutes early and as I was walking inside to keep the dog cool, I was instructed not to bring the dog inside and must wait in the car. Normally this would not be a problem, except for today we are experiencing a heat wave of very extreme heat. The pavement is hot and the car is hot, unfortunately I'm one who has been legislated to live $1000 below cost of living (ODSB). As it happened it didn't take long for someone to come and get the dog and I stayed in the car. After they finished with Chloe and brought her out to me, came time to pay the bill. So, I walked over to the window to pay, and they instructed me to come inside. I complained to them about forcing me to stay outside with Chloe and now they are looking for payment they want me inside. The girls at the desk had call what I believe to be a supervisor and I had explained this is unacceptable. The supervisor than asked me where the dog is now and I said she is in the car, then she said why did you leave her in there, I then told her because I was told to come inside and pay the bill. Don't forget they told me not to bring my dog inside. So, because of their inhumane values I had to leave the dog inside a hot car. Read Less
