Very unprofessional. My male cat was brought to this vet to get fixed when I moved to Belleville, On, and got a female kitten, she became pregnant and I couldn’t have that happen again as it took too much time and responsibility to take care of a full litter. At the very beginning of November he was neutered, I just came home today to a SINGLE newborn kitten laying on my floor. I then did a little bit of research and realized that it’s possible for 30 days after being neutered for a male to impregnate an unspayed female cat. Never once was I or anybody on phone calls leading to this appointment, informed this was possible-I have all paperwork with warnings/what to do/what not to do/risks/etc, not to mention I brought up that the fact that this is needed was to avoid my female cat from getting pregnant ever again. I believe this vet not informing me is the reason she got pregnant and only with a single baby. Will be calling in the am when it’s open to speak about what will be done about this, but I’m highly annoyed I spent almost $300 to save everyone from this happening both to me, and my kitten- yet it happened AGAIN. I left my dog to for nine days, I signed him up for boarding $45 which didn't include doggy daycare that was an extra $12 a day, my dog is a nine-month-old Shih Tzu, he is a people lover. When prior to dropping them off they said we could bring whatever we wanted so I packed up his favourite blanket and some of his favourite toys. They said they'd send pictures of him to us every other day. They didn't, until I called from my trip to check up on him they followed up with one picture. When I went to pick him up today all his toys and blankets were still in the garbage bag that I tied up. My bill was $500 for nine days of boarding doggy daycare was only half a day not including weekends. I would've been ok paying this if my dog received care. Read Less

We've brought our dog Holly here since we got her over 6 years ago. Fantastic, caring, friendly staff. Holly also stayed there when we went on vacation last year. I'm very protective of my furry buddy, and these folks treat her the way every dog should be treated. Highly recommended.Read Less

I would never take my animals here again, and would not recommend this place to anybody. My two cats were coming down with something, coughing sneezing. I took them to this place and they sent me home saying they were fine and to wait it out. The next day my cat was having trouble breathing and I phoned back while the receptionist told me if they are not having any yellow discharge wait it out. one of my cats ended up in the pet hospital on the other side of town that night open mouth breathing and being diagnosed with bronchitis and she is now on medication i am thankful for the pet hospital who actually took the time to assess my cat unlike this awful place who didn't have the time of day for me. The next morning after receiving a prescription from the pet hospital vet my boyfriend ended up going to this place to pick it up ( only because it was the only one that said it was open online at 7:30 which is before he starts work). When he arrived the receptionist was extremely rude to him and told him they cannot help anyone till 9am. overall this is a useless vet and would NEVER return. Read Less

I have been going this veterinary hospital for over 11 years now and have always had great service and felt that my dogs were being taken care of when I had them in for their surgeries and appointments. I had both my dogs fixed at Loyalist Veterinary and was very pleased with the entire process right down to the recovery. The laser surgery they do with the buried dissolving suture's they use is great! I cannot even see where my dogs had their incisions and they are both very short haired dogs! I would recommend this office to anyone as they have great service and the vets are soo friendly!Read Less
