Friendly staff and conveniently located! If I am being completely transparent, I will say that I find it on the pricy end of the scale. If budget is an issue, I would shop around for another facility. I do appreciate their email reminders though...it is very convenient for remembering things like tick and flea prevention. They offer grooming here with one groomer. She is very busy so book well in advance. They advertise as a "cat friendly practice" so that is great if you have cats. They also practice on rabbits and other small animals. Full service facility with diagnostics and imaging. Read Less

Our pets have been going to Dr. Bennett since we moved to Belleville last year. Boy am I glad we found this wonderful vet. Our cat had a mouth infection and required all of his teeth extracted. only interested in how much money they can get from you. if you do not listen carefully and ask questions they will perform tests that are not really needed. "if there was doggy ohip then we would do these tests"...(there own words).....then why are they on my quote????? Read Less

My Female cat just got fixed there yesterday. They were very pleasant over the phone. :) My boyfriend took my cat in and brought her back so I don't know what they are like in the hospital. However my concern is she had razor blade cuts and she got chucks of skin cut off while they shaved the spot to do surgery.. :( I was so upset when I came home.. It isn't my first time getting a cat fixed I have a older female cat. This has never happened before! My cat's are like family to me and I am very hurt. She is doing okay. I put some polysporin on it but I am a bit discomforted that when this happened she was probably in a lot of pain. :( I am sure it was not intentional. All I want is for staff to be careful! One of the most caring vet hospitals ever. Dr. Bennet leads a strong team with very knowledgeable staff. Always up to date on procedures, products, medication...I would never take my Newfoundlanders to anyone else. Strong ethical hospital and always willing to provide information. Everyone at Foster Park is AMAZING! Our dog Charlie needed a bunch of teeth removed, we were able to make a free consultation visit , and did surgery the following day. It's now day 5-6 after his surgery and he's doing amazing!!! We've gotten 2-3 follow up calls regarding Charlie from the vet which is really awesome!! These guys deserve more then 5 stars! Read Less

Grear service here. Didnt have to worry about my rabbit at all while he was getting neutered. Called with updates and called days after making sure hes feeling ok. Answered every question I had and just made my expirience very easy to deal with. Will definetly return if I ever have any issues with any of my pets. Read Less

This is a slightly different type of review but one non the less. As a veterinary technologist I wanted to work at Foster Park. I sent in many resumes and finally I got the job. Never have I been happier and more proud to work in such a progressive and compassionate place with such a wonderful group of people. My love for all things animals were encouraged and patient care and customer communication was second nature to all. I arrived at the doorstep of Foster Park Pet Hospital with my Great Dane Eddie Vedder this past January 2015. I had initially met Dr. Ashley Kirkham in November 2014, during a series of random, very traumatic and unfortunate events while she was working locum at another clinic. Through the course of that evening in November her consideration for me, my intuition combined with her professional knowledge, humility and phenomenal surgical skills ultimately saved Eddie's life. That night was one of those nights where one simply cannot send a simple thanks to Dr. Kirkham. It was one of those nights where the thanks must be shared with others. In January 2015, the night before my first arrival at FP, Eddie had experienced an allergic reaction that scared the life out of me. Dr. Kirkham was not working the next morning but contacted Dr. Kristina Bennett first thing and informed her of Eddie's history and our background. I had never met Dr. Bennett and found myself walking into the clinic terrified of what Eddie and I had been through and very apprehensive about his prognosis. Within minutes of meeting Dr. Bennett and staff, I knew it was all going to be ok. She immediately put my mind at ease! I was exhausted and likely not verbalizing well but she quickly put an action plan in place with confidence and grace. Since that first meeting with Dr. Bennett she has never treated me with anything but the utmost kindness, professionalism and collaboration. Both Dr. Kirkham and Dr. Bennett are 2 of the most compassionate and professional veterinarians I have ever met. Together they make a dynamic team who can tackle the most challenging of cases whether medical, surgical or nutritional. The staff at this clinic cannot to be forgotten. Simply put, they are absolutely wonderful! Each of them actually takes a moment to ask me how I am doing and truly listen to my thoughts. No-one rushes me out the door or treats me like a nuisance. For this, I cannot thank the folks at Foster Park enough for their most excellent care of Eddie (and me too!) I have never met a team so willing to research and answer all of my questions; so tolerant of my randomly heightened intuition; so engaged and positively challenged by my curiosity and more importantly, so happy to spoil Eddie and treat him like a king. Amazing staff! Brought my new baby girl in for her first shots and ended up leaving with a big bag of dog food for free and a new toy! Only paid 108 for her first shots, deworming, and flea treatment and got all extras for free. Roo wasn't eating very much and before I brought her in but her new food she absolutely loves and munches all the time :) thank you Foster park staff for helping my new baby get started :) Read Less
