Dr. Stevano is an awesome vet, he cares and he’s informative. The past few years, another Vet began working there. I stopped going because my dog last year developed pancreatitis by getting into some scraps and I was absolutely berated and treated as if Im negligent by the receptionist and discarded by the new vet. Paid a ridiculous amount in testing with no answers, information or treatment that helped him feel better other than their diet food they wanted to sell me. I was appalled and never looked back. Luckily we found a vet that worked with us in a practical manner to treat his acute pancreatitis and got his diet back on track, without trying to sell me ‘their’ products. I like Dr. Stevano, but that incident last year rubbed me the wrong way.

Long story short, have been taking my dog here for years. Last year my dog had an incident while I was in Collingwood, where he passed out while at the lake. I had to take him to a vet up there where ...
Long story short, have been taking my dog here for years. Last year my dog had an incident while I was in Collingwood, where he passed out while at the lake. I had to take him to a vet up there where he was diagnosed with heart failure and given 6 months to a year to live. that was 8 months ago an he is getting progressively worse. I have continued my relationship with the vet in Collingwood for this particular case as she is amazing, great with following up and checking in on a regular basis. My dog is on expensive heart medication which I have to get refilled on a regular basis. when I run out the vet in Collingwood has been sending a prescription to Bolton vet and they have begrudgingly filled it, almost to the point of being rude. This morning the Collingwood vet sent a prescription which Bolton vet refused to fill and basically told me they would fill it if I came in and got his yearly vaccines and rabies shots, along with a blood test. Saying that they need to see him even though, another vet has seen him and prescribed his meds. Also stating that they are not a pharmacy. They know he is dying and only has a few months left. My dog will be out of meds tomorrow and now I have to drive to Collingwood to get his medication. I am extremely upset that Bolton Vet is trying to get me to spend money that isnt needed just so I can get medication to make him comfortable. Clearly they are more interested in the money than in my dog.

We are very pleased with the service offered at Bolton Veterinary Hospital in Bolton. The staff and veterinarians are very helpful in assisting our owned animals as well as those rescued and needing help. They are of great assistance with the TNR program for feral cats and are very experienced with spay/neuter/eartip. We have been with Bolton Veterinary Hospital for over 10 years and would recommend their services. The team at Bolton Vet are the best! They have been out Vet since we moved to Ellington 7 years ago. The have cared for numerous cats and our dog, Marley. We are especially thankful for the last couple of years with Doctor Oswald. The accupuncture and laser therapy worked wonders and gave us 2 more wonderful years with our dear Marley. She recently passed after 14 wondeful years. Dr. Oswald and team made the final hour peaceful and were very supportive. Marley was always treated like a rock star. We will miss our bi-weekly visits with Dr. Oswald. I would highly recommend the accupunture and laser therapy to anyone with and ailing or senior dog. #143MARLEYDOG Thank you!!!

She gave me great information and confidently answered every question I had. Charges were afforable and I will be coming back. If you have a reptile this is the place to take them.

Thank You to Dr. Zara and the staff for making my sons worst day easier. His gerbil that he has had for 4 years was very ill and dying and after trying to find a vet that deals with small critters, I called Bolton Vet. They were able to accommodate an evening appointment, and checked out his gerbil to be sure that it was really the best option to put him down. After a quick exam and explaining it was in the gerbils best interest, he quietly went to sleep with us petting him and giving him final snuggles. Thank you for making a very difficult situation easier on my son and me.

I love my vets at Bolton Veterinary Hospital. I have had a few over the span of my best and favorite companion, Lilly the beagle. Dr. Grace is knowledgeable and compassionate and thorough in his thinking, Dr. Badeau is so kind, compassionate and so sweet with my Lilly. Dr. Pikus is my latest vet who operated on at least 4-5 lipomas last year on my beagle. He is very patient (especially with me the dog mommy) and cautious which I like. I cannot say enough about the staff who answers my call when I am so sad and crying that my furry pal isn't feeling well. Thank you to everyone at Bolton Vet, you are the BEST! I look forward to meeting Dr. Oswold and having Lilly try some alternative methods for her latest illness.

I brought in a red-tailed hawk to be taken care of. I called and the next morning to see how it was doing they said they had euthanized it. How about telling me what was wrong with it and why you had to do such thing. I did notice it had a broken wing its neck was found was trying to fly with One Wing. Eyes were adjusted accordingly as I looked at it and it was checking out its surroundings.

We were able to bring our Cat Vito right in after an issue he had and our local vet was closing for the holiday-the Vet ER took great care of him all weekend long. The staff seemed to care greatly that Vito was well taken care of, and they seemed to bond with him quickly as well. I would like to thank the wonderful people at Bolton vets especially Dr's Pikas and Bishop who took care of our Rocky this past week. Rocky had bloat and when I brought him in Dr Pikus reacted very quickly. He did not sugar coat what was happening to Rocky. he explained everything that could happen both good and bad. they had Rocky in surgery within the half hour. Thru the excellent care given to him he has survived this life threating incident. The car and compassion shown by allthe staff at Bolton vets was amazing. We have been going there now for the last 5 years and have always had excellent care for our fur babies. Carol and I wish to extend our love to all who are Bolton vets. And no matter what the outcome would be we know our pets receive the best care that is possiable.......Lester Palifka

I want to give a HUGE thank you to Bolton Veterinary Clinic in Bolton and Sophia's doctor Dr.Bishop! They have gone above and beyond to make sure that Sophia is safe and recovering well. From dealing with me being a nervous dog mom, calling all the time and bringing her in two times since her surgery because I was worried they have been incredibly kind. Even though BVC is relatively on the expensive side they are worth every penny. I highly recommend them. They are compassionate, respectful, and patient.

We had been bringing our Boston, Mickey to Bolton Vet for years. Sadly, our Mickey was diagnosed with renal failure and we lost him this past summer. All I can say is thank GOD we found Dr Pikas(!!) and his wonderful caring team. Dr. Pikas never gave up on Mickey and tried everything possible. He is one of the kindest docs we've ever encountered and spent so much time with us. We are so thankful that Mickey had Dr Pikas looking over him til the end. We know that he was in the BEST hands. We hope to find a new dog down the road and know that we will never go anywhere else.

I was referred to Bolton Veterinary Hospital by my local vet when my boston terrier/pug had an emergency eye injury. The staff was friendly, helpful, and treated my pup with lots of compassion. Dr. Bishop took great care of us and helped me to understand the eye injury and how to properly care for it. The situation was overwhelming for me and my pup and I could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be using this hospital for any animal emergencies I may have in the future! Thank you Dr. Bishop and the rest of the staff!

Took my panther chameleon to a specialist and she was great. It's not easy finding credible vets that practice on exotic reptiles. She gave me great information and confidently answered every question I had. Charges were afforable and I will be coming back. If you have a reptile this is the place to take them.

Thank You to Dr. Zara and the staff for making my sons worst day easier. His gerbil that he has had for 4 years was very ill and dying and after trying to find a vet that deals with small critters, I called Bolton Vet. They were able to accommodate an evening appointment, and checked out his gerbil to be sure that it was really the best option to put him down. After a quick exam and explaining it was in the gerbils best interest, he quietly went to sleep with us petting him and giving him final snuggles. Thank you for making a very difficult situation easier on my son and me.

I love my vets at Bolton Veterinary Hospital. I have had a few over the span of my best and favorite companion, Lilly the beagle. Dr. Grace is knowledgeable and compassionate and thorough in his thinking, Dr. Badeau is so kind, compassionate and so sweet with my Lilly. Dr. Pikus is my latest vet who operated on at least 4-5 lipomas last year on my beagle. He is very patient (especially with me the dog mommy) and cautious which I like. I cannot say enough about the staff who answers my call when I am so sad and crying that my furry pal isn't feeling well. Thank you to everyone at Bolton Vet, you are the BEST! I look forward to meeting Dr. Oswold and having Lilly try some alternative methods for her latest illness.

How about telling me what was wrong with it and why you had to do such thing. I did notice it had a broken wing its neck was found was trying to fly with One Wing. Eyes were adjusted accordingly as I looked at it and it was checking out its surroundings.

We were able to bring our Cat Vito right in after an issue he had and our local vet was closing for the holiday-the Vet ER took great care of him all weekend long. The staff seemed to care greatly that Vito was well taken care of, and they seemed to bond with him quickly as well. I would like to thank the wonderful people at Bolton vets especially Dr's Pikas and Bishop who took care of our Rocky this past week. Rocky had bloat and when I brought him in Dr Pikus reacted very quickly. He did not sugar coat what was happening to Rocky. he explained everything that could happen both good and bad. they had Rocky in surgery within the half hour. Thru the excellent care given to him he has survived this life threating incident. The car and compassion shown by allthe staff at Bolton vets was amazing. We have been going there now for the last 5 years and have always had excellent care for our fur babies. Carol and I wish to extend our love to all who are Bolton vets. And no matter what the outcome would be we know our pets receive the best care that is possiable.......Lester Palifka

I want to give a HUGE thank you to Bolton Veterinary Clinic in Bolton and Sophia's doctor Dr.Bishop! They have gone above and beyond to make sure that Sophia is safe and recovering well. From dealing with me being a nervous dog mom, calling all the time and bringing her in two times since her surgery because I was worried they have been incredibly kind. Even though BVC is relatively on the expensive side they are worth every penny. I highly recommend them. They are compassionate, respectful, and patient.

We had been bringing our Boston, Mickey to Bolton Vet for years. Sadly, our Mickey was diagnosed with renal failure and we lost him this past summer. All I can say is thank GOD we found Dr Pikas(!!) and his wonderful caring team. Dr. Pikas never gave up on Mickey and tried everything possible. He is one of the kindest docs we've ever encountered and spent so much time with us. We are so thankful that Mickey had Dr Pikas looking over him til the end. We know that he was in the BEST hands. We hope to find a new dog down the road and know that we will never go anywhere else.

I was referred to Bolton Veterinary Hospital by my local vet when my boston terrier/pug had an emergency eye injury. The staff was friendly, helpful, and treated my pup with lots of compassion. Dr. Bishop took great care of us and helped me to understand the eye injury and how to properly care for it. The situation was overwhelming for me and my pup and I could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be using this hospital for any animal emergencies I may have in the future! Thank you Dr. Bishop and the rest of the staff!
