Receptionist made it clear she was not a fan of cats. After I took my last cat there and my cat ended up worse after surgery and I had to have him put down after spendin 2 grand. I I used to be satisfied with the original Dr but since he was ill it hasn't been the same. I had taken my cat for a recurring ear infection and after several visits and $$$$ they finally said it could be a food allergy.. After I switched food he never had an ear infection again. I have left that clinic for good. Read Less

Been going here for years. Great place. Dr. Pratola is very kind, caring, and helpful. She kept us in the know the entire time our little brother was there. Thanks. Visits get expensive  when getting a few xray but that machine costs the clinic a lot. We usually pay between $300-$700 per visit. Docs do go to school for a very long time, and our little family member always gets better when he goes here so it's fair. Read Less

I also had a very sick cat.  I have to say that I was treated very well and that my little girl was in pain and  was 16 years old.  The vet which looked after my Tigger was excellent and honest.  All vet fees are quite expensive but I believe Bramalea Animal Hospital to be less expensive than some others I have been to.  My Tigger had to be put to sleep but it was the only answer.  I since have gotten a puppy Lady who is now 1 1/2 years old and I still travel from Toronto to only deal with Bramalea Animal Hospital.  They are the best . I recently brought my cat to Bramalea Animal Hospital, he was in need of a kidney stone removed. Unfortunately Dr. Telap is not there, the replacement vets are heartless and money hungry. They told me my cat was going to die and he need emergency critical care. Dr. Versa removed a stone and had him out under. Then on IV fluids and pain killers. He had me transfer him to Thr Vet Hospital on Wexford for the weekend. They ran a bunch if tests blood and urine. To no avail. They had him on morphine like pain killers. Even though I said I don't think he's in pain. I mentioned he was bloating and they brushed it off. By Monday he was looking like he's not going to make it. I took him back to Bramalea Animal hospital where they just wanted to continue this process and they said they want to put a tube in his abdomen to drain fluid. But it didn't seem right to me. To be this sick for a kidney stone. I had them remove the IV and I took him to another vet. Guess what this other took real good care of him and said they pumped him full of drugs and did tests needlessly. He didn't require the pain killer a and they over IV 'd him causing him to bloat. Essentially they made my cat sick and worse because their reasoning... They were following text book procedures. After 3K spent, and they were adding more and more to my bill for everytime they looked at him or touched him, it seems as though they were just doing things to fill their pockets not the well being if my cat. My cat was worse off then when I dropped him off. Unless Dr. Telap goes back I would recommend you stay away. !!! Read Less
