I can't rave enough about my experience with Brookfield. Have been taking my dog here since he was a puppy and he is now 9 and has been diagnosed with aggressive cancer. The amount of time and care that my dog and I have received is above and beyond anything I could imagine. The staff helped my dog and myself tremendously through this difficult time. I would recommend them to anyone who has a pet, you will not receive better care.

I was a patient of the old owner for 15 years. Who in the end I realized was a thief willing to kill a dog if you chose not to buy medication of her. These new guys are same. Keep in mind you do not ...
I was a patient of the old owner for 15 years. Who in the end I realized was a thief willing to kill a dog if you chose not to buy medication of her. These new guys are same. Keep in mind you do not have to buy animal meds off vet, you can go to pharmacy and it is usually a big savings. This place was so upset they said they would charge a examination fee(80$) and prescription fee(25$) every 3 months if I were not to buy off them. LOL! I found a great vet. Probably best in GTA. Westbridge in Mississauga. They are fare and honest and will give you a one year prescription. I highly suggest you visit them. They actually care and will only give you real diagnosis. They saved my dog and now serve many of my friends and family.

I don't know if they got new owners or something but they no longer care about your financial situation. If you can't pay TODAY but you can in a few days when you get paid well too bad. You'll get your medication whenever you pay. Who cares if your animal is sick, if you can't pay for it NOW then they don't care. NEVER going back here. NEVER sending anyone here. If all they care about is the money then I wasted so much time and money here. NEVER again. I use to be able to sign a contract stating I will pay on such and such date. But nope. Not anymore. They want your money NOW.

We called Brookfield for a last minute check up and they squeezed us in. The reception was very nice and accomodating. The doctor was thorough with their recommendations and went through pricing before going ahead with any treatment. They even gave a free $25 dollar ear cleaning for free! Would highly recommend.

I've been taking my one dog here for the last 3-4 years and my other "puppy" for the last year or so, and have never had any issues. Myself and most importantly, my pets, are always treated amazingly....
I've been taking my one dog here for the last 3-4 years and my other "puppy" for the last year or so, and have never had any issues. Myself and most importantly, my pets, are always treated amazingly. There has been more than one occasion where I've had to bring my older dog in for slight emergencies, that were, of course, never at good financial times for me. Both times the office and vet were very understanding and ensured that my fur baby received the care he needed, while trying to keep costs as minimal as possible. The vet always lays out my bill with- "this is what's NEEDED, and this is what is also SUGGESTED, if it's affordable for you right now." The thing I hate about most vets is the guilt tactic that is often used. You know, the - "If you don't do test A, B, C & D then you're a bad pet parent and shouldn't have a dog"... yah, that has NEVER happened to me here! I love this place, and I will continue to refer people, and bring my fur babies for years to come.

I have been going to Brookfield for 3 years now. Like with any business you have to work together to build a good business relationship. I live in Woodbridge and drive all the way to Brampton to this clinic because they have treated my 2 dogs so well and on top of that both of my dogs underwent surgery and recovered so quickly it was amazing. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants caring professional service. Also, I was shocked to read a review that said the clinic was not clean. That is untrue. This clinic is always clean when I have gone there and the staff are always very helpful and kind. Cat

I have brought my dogs to this clinic for the past 3 years since it became under new management. The doctors are very caring and helpfull. All the staff are great. Always trying to help in any way they can. And prices are one of the best in Brampton. I would recommend for people to go and actually visit and see for your self instead of believing all all the other negative posts from here. I went there today with my dog with epilepsy. The vet told me in order for him to give my dog needed prescription, I would need to have $400 worth of testing done, than would have to pay $75 dollars every two months to keep receiving prescription which the vet say need a check up every two months. I use to get a 6 month prescription for 25 dollars. When I said I can only pay for the prescription only he said well that is up to me and maybe putting dog down would be a choice. The dog is 100% when on meds. This is the most outrageous thing I have ever heard from a vet. I was a past customer over 15 years.. NEVER AGAIN will I go there and urge everyone to go else where. This is sickening.

My experience there was greatly disappointing. There were repeated instances where one of the Techs had been physical with the animals, and nothing was done to discipline her, nor did they remove her from their staff. They did however, take away my working hours there, when I showed great concern about this situation, telling me my actions make for a bad reference, I felt this to be quite a threat. I would greatly advise people to steer clear of this location for that reason alone. Their equipment is out of date, unsanitary, and the doctors have a "holier than thou" attitude and spoke to me about their "speciality in psychology" and ability to read people. They exhibit false compassion, and will offer random discounts to make it seem like they have sympathy. They are first and foremost business owners, cashing in on your pets needs. I would look around before taking your animals to these men. They are no greater than the past owner. Not enough good has come from this facility, you would fare better at other locations.

Brookfield does not care about animals. I recently adopted an abandoned animal from a shelter that is not currently a patient of Brookfield but based on the little history we know, she was previously a patient. I tried calling Brookfield to find out as much history about our animal as possible in order to provide her with proper care. I confirmed with BF that I am the new owner and have documentation from the city to prove it - which I offered to send BF so that they would give me more information about the animal's history. I informed her that the animal was abandoned by her previous owners and the "Vet" on the phone laughed at me and said she doubted that was the case. However, this is what was confirmed by the animal shelter who had been in contact with neighbours of the dog's old owner. The staff member (unidentified but indicated as a vet) was extremely rude and resistant to help. If they really cared about the animals, wouldn't they want to help as much as possible?

I am very very upset with this Veterinary Hospital!! About 2 weeks ago on June 29th, my friend brought in his cat to be neutered and get a full check up so he was up to date on everything as the cat was coming to live with me. The procedures went fine and we thought everything was a-okay. I have had the cat at home with me since that day. Today I had to bring the cat to my Vet because there was something wrong with his ears. Well go figure my Vet says the poor baby has EAR MITES and has had them for a very very long time (this cat is only 1). So how does this happen that Brookfield didn't catch this while they said they were doing a full check up on him.... I don't understand this. The cats original owner and I are EXTREMELY upset about the lack of care, from Brookfield, regarding this matter.

I have brought my dogs to this clinic for the past 3 years since it became under new management. The doctors are very caring and helpfull. All the staff are great. Always trying to help in any way they can. And prices are one of the best in Brampton. I would recommend for people to go and actually visit and see for your self instead of believing all all the other negative posts from here. I will always recommended everyone to you and thanks again for your great service .

I went there today with my dog with epilepsy. The vet told me in order for him to give my dog needed prescription, I would need to have $400 worth of testing done, than would have to pay $75 dollars every two months to keep receiving prescription which the vet say need a check up every two months. I use to get a 6 month prescription for 25 dollars. When I said I can only pay for the prescription only he said well that is up to me and maybe putting dog down would be a choice. The dog is 100% when on meds. This is the most outrageous thing I have ever heard from a vet. I was a past customer over 15 years.. NEVER AGAIN will I go there and urge everyone to go else where. This is sickening.

My experience there was greatly disappointing. There were repeated instances where one of the Techs had been physical with the animals, and nothing was done to discipline her, nor did they remove her from their staff. They did however, take away my working hours there, when I showed great concern about this situation, telling me my actions make for a bad reference, I felt this to be quite a threat. I would greatly advise people to steer clear of this location for that reason alone. Their equipment is out of date, unsanitary, and the doctors have a "holier than thou" attitude and spoke to me about their "speciality in psychology" and ability to read people. They exhibit false compassion, and will offer random discounts to make it seem like they have sympathy. They are first and foremost business owners, cashing in on your pets needs. I would look around before taking your animals to these men. They are no greater than the past owner. Not enough good has come from this facility, you would fare better at other locations.

I find Brookfield to be a great vets. I was not to happy with the vet tech. Both vets where very nice and took the time to explain everything to me. I will be going back here again!

Brookfield does not care about animals. I recently adopted an abandoned animal from a shelter that is not currently a patient of Brookfield but based on the little history we know, she was previously a patient. I tried calling Brookfield to find out as much history about our animal as possible in order to provide her with proper care. I confirmed with BF that I am the new owner and have documentation from the city to prove it - which I offered to send BF so that they would give me more information about the animal's history. I informed her that the animal was abandoned by her previous owners and the "Vet" on the phone laughed at me and said she doubted that was the case. However, this is what was confirmed by the animal shelter who had been in contact with neighbours of the dog's old owner. The staff member (unidentified but indicated as a vet) was extremely rude and resistant to help. If they really cared about the animals, wouldn't they want to help as much as possible?

I am very very upset with this Veterinary Hospital!! About 2 weeks ago on June 29th, my friend brought in his cat to be neutered and get a full check up so he was up to date on everything as the cat was coming to live with me. The procedures went fine and we thought everything was a-okay. I have had the cat at home with me since that day. Today I had to bring the cat to my Vet because there was something wrong with his ears. Well go figure my Vet says the poor baby has EAR MITES and has had them for a very very long time (this cat is only 1). So how does this happen that Brookfield didn't catch this while they said they were doing a full check up on him.... I don't understand this. The cats original owner and I are EXTREMELY upset about the lack of care, from Brookfield, regarding this matter.
