Our dog got 11 porcupine quills in her chin. We took her here on a Sunday afternoon. The wait for service was only about 1/2 hour, and Dr. Gary removed all of the quills. By the next day, she seemed to be back to normal. While the service wasn't inexpensive, the final bill came in lower than I feared. Very happy with the results. Read Less

Just got back home with my boy (Moses). Doc was really friendly, and at my first call the receptionist seem unfriendly (who wouldn't be bored working at 2AM!), but when we got there, she made us feel very welcome and was actually quite a nice person. We were assisted right away. Doc performed an ultrasound on my cat, who ended up having crystals and he gave us some antibiotics, and some cat food to help prevent the crystals from worsening. Promised to forward the results to my current vet. With consultation, ultrasound performed, the doc seemed quite knowledgeable with his diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as everything provided was a decent price from what I was expecting. Considering it should be a premium charge for 24 hr service. HIGHLY recommended, and I don't ever write reviews on Google! That should speak volumes Read Less

For an after hours emergency clinic, this place is top notch! Their front desk staff are lovely, technicians seem highly skilled, and doctors, extremely knowledgeable. I've never been shown anything but compassion and understanding at this animal hospital and I'm so grateful to have them in my area! I had to bring my dog to them this past week (thank god they're open during the holidays!) and I really appreciated how the young lady at the front desk would come out to inform us of what they were currently doing (in the treatment area) with my dog. It helped ease my mind and broke up the wait time, even though we don't have to wait very long. And the nurse really explained our medications to us really well and made sure we understood before we left. All in all, excellent service! Read Less

This emergency clinic is great! I have quite a few pets so I've had to take them here a few times and each time we've had wonderful service by very caring people. From the animal nurses to the receptionists to the vets, great, great, great! I've never had any complaints. Dr. Northlaunder is who we usually end up seeing and he explains things so well and is very calm and gentle. All my pets have always responded really well to him. All in all, if you have something urgent that can't wait until your vet opens, I'd highly recommend this place. Read Less

After my dog chewed up a neoprene and rubber boot he threw up 4 to 5 times throughout the day and into the night. The next day he didn't eat all day and was lethargic. I took him in to ensure there was no obstruction. I arrived at the clinic at 8pm and finally got into a room at 9:45pm. After waiting in the room until 10:15pm I walked out. I believe they moved me to the room so I didn't see all the other customers coming in after me that were being taken right in. Not once, in 2 1/2hrs, did anybody say anything to me or let me know approximately how much longer I would need to wait. I went to another vet. I would not recommend this clinic to anybody. This place is great! Every one was so super nice and friendly and they kept letting us know step by step what was being done with my dog when they had to take him back for his treatment procedure. Like, I mean the girl kept updating us. It was kinda busy when I was there and the front desk girl apologized for the wait but instead of just saying sorry she explained that they have to see the sickest pets first. I appreciated that. Makes sense. We saw Dr. Kryss and he was really kind and gentle with my crazy dog. He knew just how to handle him. Anyway I was happy with this vet but I hope I don't have to go back of course. A couple of months ago, I had to bring my beloved cat here to be put down. I was alone, and it was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do, but I knew it was time. I've only just been able to write this review now, as I have been too upset. From the vet to the pet nurse, everyone at this clinic was just wonderful, but I was especially touched by the warmth and care that the receptionist, Angela showed me in my time of need. So much so that I wanted to know her name, as I knew I'd be writing a review. I hope she doesn't mind that I've used it. Thank you so much, Angela, for your compassion and understanding. I can tell it was genuine. You made things a little bit easier for me in such a distressing time. Also, a big thank you to the lovely doctor and nurse. You were both amazing, and I'm sorry I didn't get your names. Despite it being quite busy when I was there, I never felt rushed. Everyone took their time with me and my precious girl. One star cause they did help our cat for a large fee, and they did forward they medical records to our vet. Otherwise, gave mis-information & blamed our vet, left our cat in distress, and tried to convince us that a $2300 operation was needed, but settled for $1300 in treatments, with the operation being the "next step" if he doesn't get better. Then we found out from our vet that the "next step" was to change his food and monitor him, possibly needing another antibiotic, but an operation was definitely NOT the way to go. Only go here if you have absolutely no other option, I'd go anywhere else. Read Less
