The story of Thor Jackson,
Monday morning we took our dog in with very very short breath and trouble breathing his body was in shock from not eating. Thor has refused to eat for the past two day. By the time we brought him to the vet he wasn’t responsive to anything, would not move. Doctor Sohi checked him, Doctor Sohi said there was nothing he could tell us besides Thor being in shock he needs to run test to see what it is that’s going on. Doctor Sohi told us he REFUSES / WILL NOT work on our 9Year old until he received payment of $2500.00 upfront. as he is saying this our dog is on his table struggling to breath and at this point pooping himself because he can’t control himself. We obviously paid they took him straight in the back and put him in a cage, with an IV drip to keep him hydrated. Myself , Husband , and in laws went to go and say good bye to him before we left him there for the day. We opened the cage and Thor who is unable to move was laying in a pile of his own vomit. I myself cleaned up what I could and asked the nurse for help. We left him in their care. My husband got a phone call at 6:25pm saying Thor passed mins ago during one of the test as they started to work on him. When doing the test they found out he was diabetic. His sugar levels would not drop by the 3 insulin shot they gave him his sugar lowered but apparently in the procedure he had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest. They did not want us to come in and see him as they close at 7:00 and it was cutting it close to the end of their shift. They asked we come in the morning to finalize payment but told us we would not get to see him, he would be In the freezer and it would be to much for them to have to take him out and put him back. We obviously didn’t let that slide and made sure and FLEW down to Brampton to see our puppy boy one last time. To only see him dead in another puddle of his vomit, laying there in a mess not even cleaned up.
THINKING BACK NOW, if you are closing at 7:00 why are you doing test on him now who was struggling to breath since 8am?! Did he really pass at the time you called or was he left in the cage in probably more of a puddle of his own vomit and did you guys find him already passed?! He could of been at home with his family in his last hrs if this was going to be it! I would of never left him if he wasn’t going to get better ! My husband went to pick up his body the next day and they had him in a deep freezer with another animal on top of him. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO LAKERIDGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN BRAMPTON!
Doctor Sohi only wants money, he does not care for our loved ones. My husband telling me how Thor was in the freezer I will not be quiet! This place is SICK!

The blonde receptionist is a very sweet lady, she was very nice to me during my visit. I appreciate her kindness.
Although for Mr.Sohi, he is an ignorant man. During my pets exam he was very rude to me and very pushy for me to spend 200$ just to get a swab done. Not to mention he was LAUGHING while speaking to me and smirking at everything I said. He was also being very dismissive with what I had to say. He did not take my pets concern seriously and did not even exam my pet. All he did was check her heart beat. What the hell am I paying “$60.00 for??? For you to use a tethescope ? The fee is for an EXAMINATION... in which I did not receive.
I had explained that I have gotten multiple tests done by multiple vets being $576.00 deep in bills. Nothing has ever been problematic/found in the tests I have had done so I didn’t wanna proceed with any more testing, it has been a waste of money for my pet who is very healthy & clearly has no issues. Not to mention he didn’t believe that I had tests done at other offices so he decided to call all of them to get my files. And the technician with black hair? Just as rude. This place is full of attitude ridden people. All I can say is thank god the receptionist is a nice lady.
Overall the visit was a terrible experience, I will not be coming back to this office. The vetrinarian is just as bad as any other, they don’t care about your pet they care about your money going in their pocket.
Save your time and money and go to a different veterinarian !!!!

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place. I find the vet is a compassionate and friendly individual. I was referred to this location by my sister-in-law who told me she found him...
I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place. I find the vet is a compassionate and friendly individual. I was referred to this location by my sister-in-law who told me she found him by accident because he was the only vet who would take her pit bull. I am happy I settled with him. His staff is friendly and I never geeked pushed to do services. He is straight forward. They pull all the services on the table and they offer reasonable prices. I find them as compassionate people. I can tell they are in it for the love of animals and not for the money. I would take all these reviews with a grain of salt. I would recommend you meet with the vet and staff and make your own judgement if you would like for them to care for your pet. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a vet.

Would give 0 stars if given the chance. Dr.Sohi is very rude,unprofessional and ignorant. When giving vaccinations he would through used needles into the sink instead if disposing them properly. Wasn'...
Would give 0 stars if given the chance. Dr.Sohi is very rude,unprofessional and ignorant. When giving vaccinations he would through used needles into the sink instead if disposing them properly. Wasn't personable whatsoever. Was the main reason our dog had to be put down; she had pancreatitis and was diagnosed with diabetes which put us up to about $3000 in bills for her to stay to be on fluids and small doses of insulin. Sohi told us to increase insulin levels from 5 units and 3 units per day to 8 units twice a day which caused complete blindness in our dog not 4 days later. Which in turn lowered her quality of life so much as she couldn't even go outside to do her business. When her final day came, Sohi shaved her one leg to insert the IV and missed the vein, so they had to do it all again on her other leg. Once they got that in, the vet tech had our dog who wouldn't hurt a fly in a headlock and did not tell us when he gave her the injection. He just looked at my family and said "ok,it's done". Not a peaceful or pleasant experience by any means. We will NEVER go back to him. If you love your pets and consider them family,save yourself and your animals and take them somewhere else. Do NOT go here!

I have mixed feelings. The customer service is usually good. When my dog was a puppy he fainted after getting some shots. However since then they have put it on his file and always remembered.

Dr. Sohi is an unqualified Vetenerary..he missed diagnosed my dog...instead of doing a neurological exam on my baby he quickly dismiss our concerns about a limping leg.. Dr. Sohi give us the usual stomach issues and what is even worst he prescribed us to walked her rigth after seeing him.
Short story long..my baby was paralyzed next day with IVDD (slipped disk on her back)..when I took her the next day to see him..Dr.Sohi being as ignorant as he can be forced my dog to walk..then he went ahead and did a neurological exam..after seeing he's missed diagnoseis..He referred me to emergency to a neurologist he knew where just the consultation was $380 and to face a $5000 surgery.
Dr. Sohi dissappear rigth after that..charge me again a total of $135 for his misdiagnosis and let me out hanging with my baby paralyzed.
Took her to a respectable hospital for a second opinion...where I found out I missed precious time dealing with this unqualified Vet.
when I confronted him about it...he lied saying he did do a neurological exam the first time..I told him he was liar.. my wife and I and my daughter saw he didn't do the neurological exam.
I told him I was gonna go to the clinic and tell everybody this..he beg me not to...and gave a check for $150...what clowed Dr Sohi is...like $20 dollars extra is gonna buy my silence. ...
There is no a price for your misdiagnosed incompetent..arrogant clown..
I want everybody to know what kind of Vet. Dr Sohi is.. and not to take a chance with your baby's pets...this careless arrogant ignorant Vet. Will not care about then..

Very, very, very rude!!! VERY RUDE. I can't say enough how they so lack respect and kindness when you don't pay to get them do something for you.
I called to confirm if a microchip was put into my cat (getting hopeful as he has gone missing) and the woman on the other line huffed at me, looked into my file and said, "No, so goodluck finding your cat" in a very sarcastic, rub-it-in-my-face kind of way.

The story of Thor Jackson,
Monday morning we took our dog in with very very short breath and trouble breathing his body was in shock from not eating. Thor has refused to eat for the past two day.
