When I adopted my two Golden Retriever Rescues I chose the McQueen Animal Hospital for convenience as it was close to home. I really lucked out because the staff working with the Dr's were extremely helpful as my girls were new clients. Dr. Chen and Dr. Babbar are the two doctors operating this clinic and you easily sense the care and empathy they display. I also have found that they do not spend your money easily, as I have experienced with both my girls with allergies. I get a good feeling when I have to take Sage and Spirit in for any reason. We've been taking our dog Brownie for the past 6 years and we're very happy with Dr. Babbar and his team at McQueen Animal Hospital. He has excellent facilities, he is the best veterinary doctor we have ever known. We are so lucky to have found him as Brownie underwent an extensive surgery and recovered from it. I took my dog here due to the excellent reviews. I agree with most of the reviews as the staff is very friendly and welcoming. However the prices are comparable with other animal clinics. My girlfriend's sister's cat have been a longtime patient at the McQueen's Animal Hospital. We had to take her in for the annual check-up and shot.The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The vet called her cat a chubby baby but otherwise healthy. I can't help it but find that hilarious. I love McQueen Animal Hospital !! Dr. Babar is an amazing Doctor, which is hard to find ! I tried a few places when I first got my Boy Sampson, then I found McQueen 5 years ago!! and I'd never go anywhere else !! They are the best!! Even when my dog got attacked by an off leash pit bull....They were amazing, they took such good care of him and put my mind at ease !! I knew he would be okay in their hands !! They were and have always been very reasonable and now my Boy is brand new !! I can't say enough !! I would recommend Dr. Babar and his wonderful team to anyone and everyone!!! My family have been taking our pets here for five plus years now.Our cat, Belle and our kitty Bevan are both in great care with the professionals here.They really do care about your pets, like they are their own.They are able to handle all sort of personalities. Belle is a very vicious cat while Bevan doesn't try to claw your eyes out for staring at him.Highly recommend. Read Less

Purchased a Persian cat who was brought to this clinic for shots. Apparently the breeder was very shady and was lying about using this clinic for follow up care. When the cat got very sick the receptionists at this clinic told me they fired her because she was neglectful and a lot of her cats died. Unfortunately our kitty died too. We are pursuing a law suit and were told that Dr. Babbar would back us up with a letter. He denied us the letter today saying he did not want to be involved. Why would a Veterinarian not write a letter trying to stop this woman from breeding other sick animals. Did he not take a vow to promote the health and welfare of helpless animals. My dog King is always treated like family there. Dr Babbar and his team are amazing! I recommend this Vet to everyone I know!! UPDATE!! MAY 2018 - I just wanted to thank Dr. Babbar for helping us in an emergency situation. The office was technically closed and the Doctor called us right back even though he couldn't see King. He gave us medication after explaining what was wrong. It was a common bowel issue among puppies so he knew exactly what was wrong and how to treat it. King recovered in no time! I absolutely LOVE this clinic! I am a first time dog mom and paranoid about everything regarding my dog's health and well being. All the staff at this clinic are wonderful, friendly and most of all kind and compassionate they NEVER make me feel bad about my silly questions and always explain everything in detail. I've lived in Brampton my whole life but moved to Toronto a few years ago. I've always struggled to find a reliable AND affordable Veterinarian no matter where I go. I have committed to the idea that reliability and affordability cannot coexist when considering Vets. I have bounced all over the city, taking my dogs to a number of Vets and then remained at the Vet at Queen and Chinguacousy for many many years until a few years ago. A family member had referred me to McQueen Animal Hospital and I have to say that I am constantly blown away at the amount of care, attention and compassion I get, from the moment I enter the clinic, visit with the Vet and then pay and leave. I would have easily paid for the same services at McQueen Animal Hospital as all of the expensive Vets in the city because of the special care my pets get at McQueen; however I am floored at how much more affordable they are over ALL other Vet clinics that I’ve taken my dogs to over the past 30 years. They have been extremely accommodating and the staff and Vets are all genuinely interested in seeing the best health and quality of life for my pets. They treat both my pet and me with the utmost respect and priority and once I’m done and have to pay the Vet bill, I don’t feel like I’ve broken the bank. If you want top quality service, with an extremely friendly and caring staff and pet bills that don’t put you in the poor house, then you need to check them out. I was convinced after my first visit but ever visit since then, I’ve been floored at how they can still continue to outdo themselves (hence my reason to share my experience with the masses!) I will NEVER go anywhere else now and despite moving to downtown Toronto, I will still make the trek back to Brampton so my fur baby can see the best of the best!!! Read Less

Our furkid, Olive, went down with liver failure back in March 2017 which was misdiagnosed at the first three vets we went to. She was hospitalized there for about 2 weeks, BUT her condition deteriorated to a level where she went severely critical. After a lot of research and deliberation, we decided to take her in the worst of her condition to Dr Babbars Clinic. From a 5% chance of survival on that day to getting two blood transfusions within a month's time and finally gettin...g the right diagnosis and medication, its been a long (almost 4 months now), exhausting but a fruitful journey with Olive back on track to being a happy n healthy furry. Olive is still recovering and we look forward to her complete recovery soon. Its difficult to describe in words how thankful we are to Dr Babbar and his team for all their support in every which way. Its important to mention that we stay in North York, and though its about an hours travel to Dr Babbars, its most definitely worth it!! Dr. H. Babbar DVM is the best Doctor I have ever met. I have been a pet owner all my life and I am 60 years old. I recently took my cat BoBo to his clinic. Dr. Babbar was kind, compassionate and caring. He was gentle and he made me very reassured that my BoBo's life was in the right hands. If you are looking for a Doctor for your pet, go to McQueen Animal Hospital @ 8975 McLaughlin Road in Brampton and see Dr. H. Babbar. As far as I am concerned, he is the best. I will never take my dog anywhere else other than McQueens. After North Town Veterinarian Hospital said my dog had kidney failure and was going to die because we could not afford over $8000 to cure him we were desperate to find someone who could give us a second opinion before we put him down. We came to McQueens with not much hope. They did a full examination of my dog checking his vitals (which the other veterinarian hospital did not do), and even doing acupuncture because North Town sedated him so much he couldnt walk for over a week and half when they said he'd be fine 4-6 hours later after sedation. The veterinarian who came in was so kind, you could really tell he has a passion for curing animals. All he said was my dog had inflamed intestines, no kidney failure, nothing. He gave us my dogs prescription and we walked out paying only $120... It's been 6 months and my dog is still better than ever. Thank you McQueen for caring for my animal as if he were your own. I moved to Canada almost 2 years ago with my pug which means the world to me. It turned out to be very difficult to find a really good vet that cares a lot about your animal. Since I found dr. Babbar I could not be happier. I trust him 100% with my baby's life. He always takes the time to do all the checkups, test and everything necessary to make sure he understands the problem. Then he will take even more time to explain everything and make sure you understand. You can see that it is not about money-making but about actually helping the animal and making sure they get the best possible treatment. Fantastic facility with fantastic staff. Everything is calm and relaxed and you never feel rushed or pushed, and there is never any attempt to push pet products which I really like. Dr Babbar is outstanding, always willing to answer questions, to help and advise. This is a great place for pets and owners alike and its the only place I will be trusting with my new puppy Jessie's health now and as she grows up and grows old. Where do I begin? Dr. Babar saved our sweet Bella's life. Our 9 yr old precious dog developed a very large mammary tumor that was life threatening. Dr. Babar showed such compassion and understanding during this time and helped our family a great deal. I respect this man for going with his heart and making the right decisions. Her surgery was a great success while there were so many complications that could have occurred. He was so gentle and warm and you can really tell that he loves his occupation. His staff are spot on and very friendly. I appreciate the time they all took to make me feel comfortable and at ease that our precious fur-baby was in great hands.
