Let me start off by saying the only vet at beauties animal hospital worth seeing is Dr. Sammi. Now for my review: I brought my dog there 3 days ago from Niagara Falls area due to not eating. After a few days at there Stoney Creek Clinic they phoned us to let us that our best friend has cancer and there are no options due to age and weight. They asked us to wait for another call from the clinic that took over 4 hrs to find out they made an appointment 4.5 hrs after the call for us to come in an say our goodbyes.When we arrived our poor friend was covered in urine from chest down. When the vet entered the room to complete the procedure he had absolutely no bed side manner. After we said our goodbyes no one came in the room to check up. If I did not stay he would have been left lying in the urine on the floor. I am absolutely appalled by how my loved one was treat by these supposed professionals. This wasn't the first time I left Beattie with animal covered in feces.

We received treatment from Beattie approximately 5 yrs ago and after a number of visits we changed vets due to poor interaction and communication from the vet.
Now over five years later we had an emergency situation and Beattie was the closest Vet. We didn’t have any other option as it was an emergency. Thankfully the vet & team that took control of our dog did an incredible job. They were very knowledgeable and professional with us and our dog. The service they provided saved our dogs life. Dr.Featherstone was great and the Tech named Brad was also fantastic.
They reacted fast and were able to save our dogs life.
I’m not surè if there had been an ownership change or if better vets and techs are now on staff but I can say that we were very impressed with Beattie over the last year since returning.
I would recommend this vet now and disregard all of the old bad reviews because Beattie seems to have successfully made the required changes to achieve a top notch level of professionalism and Vet services.

Misdiagnosed my dogs broken shoulder as a sprain. After weeks I insisted on X-rays and a break was discovered. Also gave wrong information for recovering from it: crate rest, we can’t do anything for it. Four months later dog still limping. Took him to Mississauga ($800) and was told it was too late to set, I should have had a pin put in as soon as it happened. Lost this dog a year later hen his pain became too much. Also gave both my dogs leptospirosis vaccine which (being gun dogs) I was told they must have. One dog lost 3/4 of his fur and developed an egg size lump from it. Vet told me it was ‘seasonal allergies ‘. Always kept waiting at least 30-45minutes and rarely see the same vet twice. Never again.

Stella is our baby and our standards for her care are exceedingly high. Dr Lima has provided her with exceptional care. She is very gentle and thorough. She was involved in Stella's care during a extremely stressful and scary time. She was kind enough to call us numerous times to follow-up on her condition. You can teach a person the knowledge and skills to be a good vet, but you can't teach them to care. Dr Lima is not just good...she is amazing!

I have only been dealing with this clinic for about 3 years....but I have been so impressed with every aspect. I had originally dealt with another clinic for over 40 years and never had the carie and understanding that I received at Beatties .Dr. S. Qureshi and the other vets and staff are amazing. We recently had to deal with cancer in one of our Dog's, and the care and understanding we received while dealing with this tragedy was incredible.The 30 min drive is well worth the care and understanding received there.Thank you Brantford ClinicSandra P.

Just realized what a poor community service Beatties is for local people who have a feral cat problem. I just trapped a homeless cat in a live trap and called Beatties because I wanted to do the right thing and get the cat fixed so there would be no more homeless cats and kittens on my street. Beatties policy is that cats need to be vaccinated a month before they will fix the animal which also drives up the price in the hundreds of dollars. They have no program or protocol for homeless feral cats in this situation and didn't seem to give a damn in changing their protocol or rules to deal with this very real and sad situation in the community. Shame on you Beatties for neglecting your community and it's homeless animals. SHAME ON YOU !!!!!

Probably the worst vet experience of my life. Cleaning out the camper for spring and my dog decided to drink plumbing antifreeze that had leaked onto the ground. She immediately started puking so we rushed to the nearest animal hospital at 9pm which was beattie. Instead of getting help, I was questioned as to why I "fed my dog antifreeze" and after countless attempts to explain to the non-english native vet about why my dog came into contact with the fluid he, instead, threatened to take my dog away and call the police. After 20 minutes of this with no help, we left and went to West Brant where we met an amazing team who went right to work and saved my dog. What's worse is 2 weeks later I got a bill from beattie for $118 consult fee!! Not to mention, have been getting text messages monthly about how much they miss me. Pathetic and I will never recommend this clinic.

Could've cared less about my great Danes flipped stomach. I'm not a vet but I could tell from the x-rays she had flipped her stomach. After ten hours of them trying to get more X-rays finally she went for surgery. The vet who performed the operation was very happy that my dog didn't have a tight flip or by that time I would be saying goodbye. They also managed to screw up simple IV and now my Dane gets swollen paws everytime it gets cold. Which never happened before and the staff admitted to the mistake. The stress was unbelievable for my Dane, family and I. I've also had problems with them doing spaying and neutering of cats. They claim to be cheaper or some other excuse but if you love your animal and want the best possible care I suggest going to a different vet clinic. Also they go through staff like water which is a really bad sign.

After trying out a few vets in Brant County, I now use Beatties all the time. My Aussie X was very ill a year ago, at the age of 11 with pyometra (severe uterine infection). Dr. Erin Fuller, a most compassionate veterinarian, operated on her that very night and removed the uterus, which had been leaking into the gut. She must have done a wonderful job since Panda is now almost 13 years old, is still walking with us twice a day and has never looked better. I find this clinic to be clean, and their boarding kennels above average, with 24 hour supervision. The prices are better than most and their care is perhaps the best I've experienced.

I do wish they offered some sort of payment plan as the dental work my 12 yr old needs is a bit much out of pocket all at once. Haven't been back since over priced for what I had done for my puppy. Found better veterans and better prices then beatties veterans.

The lady on the phone was rude, wouldn't book me an appointment without having the exact age of the dog, she made it more difficult than it needed to be. I tried a few other options to figure the age out 1) the age of the dog when I picked them up to now (not good enough) 2) have the dogs previous record transferred which that office said they can do (also not good enough) Frustrated because it was a simple call to book an appointment. I Called another vet and they booked the appointment with no problem.

"My cat started noticeably limping on his right front leg Christmas Day. I took him to Beattie and they found a bad infected cat bite on both front and back of his right front leg. As anyone who knows cats, they're very stoic until it's very bad. The vet treated him gently and really took the time to make sure to find all the bites. The vet assistant (I wish I could remember her name!) was very sweet and helpful. My bill for CHRISTMAS DAY was only $166! I couldn't believe the price for the great care my cat Blue got on such a holiday. If I ever have another emergency this is the vet hospital I'm going to. They're caring, kind and really care about your pet. Very, very impressed with care and service. Thanks Beattie!"

She is compassionate and caring, especially with our 16 year old yorkie Nash and I would recommend her to anyone with a pet. In January 2016 Nash was quite ill and due to Dr. Larocque's care and expertise, a year later he is still with us. We are new to Brantford and needed to get our dogs vaccines updated. I made a last minute appointment with no problem. The facility was remarkably clean, I was blown away by the modern feel of the clinic as well as the size. The staff were friendly and helpful and the vet was amazing! I didn't feel rushed, she took her time to answer my questions and converse with me in a professional yet approachable manor. We are happy to be new customers and look forward to building a long lasting relationship with their vets.

My little boy Finley had to go to sleep a couple weeks ago as he was diagnosed with congenital kidney failure. He was only a baby (just turned one in September). Beattie Animal Hospital had been there for me from the very start and supported my dog and I until the final day. I am very appreciative and thankful. They went above and beyond on his final hours and provided me with peace. Thank you.

My 18 year old American Eskimo was no longer responding to food. he wasn't able to go outside let alone stand or walk for more than a few steps. He has never been sick, but in the just year lost some teeth, lost his hearing and sight. My daughter and I made the difficult decision to end his sufferng. Battueswe're so kind, caring and gentle with Baileyou and us. ThEvie proendure was wthought struggle or stress. Nevery pleasant to say good bye, but thanks to Beatties, the memory will be a loving goodbye. Clara & Evangeline for Bailey, our lovingl American Eskimo.

This is for the Stoney Creek location!!!!Brought my German Shepherd puppy in to get spayed today, had a 7:30 am drop off time, was told it would be done by about 3 because she was the first drop off of the day, at 3:50 pm I called to be told they hadn't even done the surgery yet and there was no telling what time she would have the surgery, I had to argue with the Lady on the phone who insisted that my puppy was resting in her crate nicely even though she was at the Brantford office not Stoney Creek, I got to go pick my puppy up and bring her home with no surgery, I am from Stoney Creek and now I am going to drive my dog to Queensway in Simcoe where I know they treat these dogs much better. My puppy hadn't eatin since 9 pm the night before and hadn't got to go pee since 7 am!!! If there was a 0 star option, they would get that!!! Your prices may be decent but your service is the worst I've ever seen!!!

Experience is based on what Veterinarian you get my last visit I was able to get my boy looked at quickly as he was deteriorating throughout the day.The girl at the front desk was very friendly and was so sweet to my boy. The vet techs were great as well sweetly talking to him and the Vet was great reassuring myself and my boy that he will be okay.Was expecting to pay much more than I did but he is worth it!

I have used Beaverdale Animal Hospital for years. They are a dedicated to help all pets my first dog Annie was cared for by Beaverdale for 7 years and she lived till 12 unfortunately she had an inoperable cancer. I always recieved excellent care for Annie at a great price compared to other Vets. Recently I took my new Puppy Hugo a basset hound he was sick with diahrea. They diagnosed him fast with parvovirus and with great treatment he recovered and is running around like a new puppy. They saved Hugo's life and the cost was less than expected. I would not trust any other vet with my beloved pets health. They explain all treatments and cost upfront and they updated me on Hugo's condition twice a day. They answered all our concerns and questions and followed up with instructions and n home care. I highly recommend Beaverdale as an excellent Veterinary Clinic. Tracey Haskett.

I will never go back to this Animal Hospital, Our dog was injured, we were given two estimates, A low and a high, Not having a choice we had to get the dog help and in the end pain the high estimate plus extras. I dont think she realy needed to be put under to get stitches in her leg, nor do i believe she needed iv fluids for the four hours she was there.She is a well behaved dog and im sure some local freezing would have been fine. This place is the reason why people dont get help when there animals are injured our bill was over $600.Thats just not right.

I have only been dealing with this clinic for about 3 years....but I have been so impressed with every aspect. I had originally dealt with another clinic for over 40 years and never had the carie and understanding that I received at Beatties .Dr. S. Qureshi and the other vets and staff are amazing. We recently had to deal with cancer in one of our Dog's, and the care and understanding we received while dealing with this tragedy was incredible.The 30 min drive is well worth the care and understanding received there.Thank you Brantford ClinicSandra P.

Just realized what a poor community service Beatties is for local people who have a feral cat problem. I just trapped a homeless cat in a live trap and called Beatties because I wanted to do the right thing and get the cat fixed so there would be no more homeless cats and kittens on my street. Beatties policy is that cats need to be vaccinated a month before they will fix the animal which also drives up the price in the hundreds of dollars. They have no program or protocol for homeless feral cats in this situation and didn't seem to give a damn in changing their protocol or rules to deal with this very real and sad situation in the community. Shame on you Beatties for neglecting your community and it's homeless animals. SHAME ON YOU !!!!!

Probably the worst vet experience of my life. Cleaning out the camper for spring and my dog decided to drink plumbing antifreeze that had leaked onto the ground. She immediately started puking so we rushed to the nearest animal hospital at 9pm which was beattie. Instead of getting help, I was questioned as to why I "fed my dog antifreeze" and after countless attempts to explain to the non-english native vet about why my dog came into contact with the fluid he, instead, threatened to take my dog away and call the police. After 20 minutes of this with no help, we left and went to West Brant where we met an amazing team who went right to work and saved my dog. What's worse is 2 weeks later I got a bill from beattie for $118 consult fee!! Not to mention, have been getting text messages monthly about how much they miss me. Pathetic and I will never recommend this clinic.

Could've cared less about my great Danes flipped stomach. I'm not a vet but I could tell from the x-rays she had flipped her stomach. After ten hours of them trying to get more X-rays finally she went for surgery. The vet who performed the operation was very happy that my dog didn't have a tight flip or by that time I would be saying goodbye. They also managed to screw up simple IV and now my Dane gets swollen paws everytime it gets cold. Which never happened before and the staff admitted to the mistake. The stress was unbelievable for my Dane, family and I. I've also had problems with them doing spaying and neutering of cats. They claim to be cheaper or some other excuse but if you love your animal and want the best possible care I suggest going to a different vet clinic. Also they go through staff like water which is a really bad sign.

After trying out a few vets in Brant County, I now use Beatties all the time. My Aussie X was very ill a year ago, at the age of 11 with pyometra (severe uterine infection). Dr. Erin Fuller, a most compassionate veterinarian, operated on her that very night and removed the uterus, which had been leaking into the gut. She must have done a wonderful job since Panda is now almost 13 years old, is still walking with us twice a day and has never looked better. I find this clinic to be clean, and their boarding kennels above average, with 24 hour supervision. The prices are better than most and their care is perhaps the best I've experienced.

I do wish they offered some sort of payment plan as the dental work my 12 yr old needs is a bit much out of pocket all at once. The lady on the phone was rude, wouldn't book me an appointment without having the exact age of the dog, she made it more difficult than it needed to be. I tried a few other options to figure the age out 1) the age of the dog when I picked them up to now (not good enough) 2) have the dogs previous record transferred which that office said they can do (also not good enough) Frustrated because it was a simple call to book an appointment. I Called another vet and they booked the appointment with no problem.

"My cat started noticeably limping on his right front leg Christmas Day. I took him to Beattie and they found a bad infected cat bite on both front and back of his right front leg. As anyone who knows cats, they're very stoic until it's very bad. The vet treated him gently and really took the time to make sure to find all the bites. The vet assistant (I wish I could remember her name!) was very sweet and helpful. My bill for CHRISTMAS DAY was only $166! I couldn't believe the price for the great care my cat Blue got on such a holiday. If I ever have another emergency this is the vet hospital I'm going to. They're caring, kind and really care about your pet. Very, very impressed with care and service. Thanks Beattie!"

She is compassionate and caring, especially with our 16 year old yorkie Nash and I would recommend her to anyone with a pet. In January 2016 Nash was quite ill and due to Dr. Larocque's care and expertise, a year later he is still with us. We are new to Brantford and needed to get our dogs vaccines updated. I made a last minute appointment with no problem. The facility was remarkably clean, I was blown away by the modern feel of the clinic as well as the size. The staff were friendly and helpful and the vet was amazing! I didn't feel rushed, she took her time to answer my questions and converse with me in a professional yet approachable manor. We are happy to be new customers and look forward to building a long lasting relationship with their vets.

My little boy Finley had to go to sleep a couple weeks ago as he was diagnosed with congenital kidney failure. He was only a baby (just turned one in September). Beattie Animal Hospital had been there for me from the very start and supported my dog and I until the final day. I am very appreciative and thankful. They went above and beyond on his final hours and provided me with peace. Thank you.

My 18 year old American Eskimo was no longer responding to food. he wasn't able to go outside let alone stand or walk for more than a few steps. He has never been sick, but in the just year lost some teeth, lost his hearing and sight. My daughter and I made the difficult decision to end his sufferng. Battueswe're so kind, caring and gentle with Baileyou and us. ThEvie proendure was wthought struggle or stress. Nevery pleasant to say good bye, but thanks to Beatties, the memory will be a loving goodbye. Clara & Evangeline for Bailey, our lovingl American Eskimo.

This is for the Stoney Creek location!!!!Brought my German Shepherd puppy in to get spayed today, had a 7:30 am drop off time, was told it would be done by about 3 because she was the first drop off of the day, at 3:50 pm I called to be told they hadn't even done the surgery yet and there was no telling what time she would have the surgery, I had to argue with the Lady on the phone who insisted that my puppy was resting in her crate nicely even though she was at the Brantford office not Stoney Creek, I got to go pick my puppy up and bring her home with no surgery, I am from Stoney Creek and now I am going to drive my dog to Queensway in Simcoe where I know they treat these dogs much better. My puppy hadn't eatin since 9 pm the night before and hadn't got to go pee since 7 am!!! If there was a 0 star option, they would get that!!! Your prices may be decent but your service is the worst I've ever seen!!!

Experience is based on what Veterinarian you get my last visit I was able to get my boy looked at quickly as he was deteriorating throughout the day.The girl at the front desk was very friendly and was so sweet to my boy. The vet techs were great as well sweetly talking to him and the Vet was great reassuring myself and my boy that he will be okay.Was expecting to pay much more than I did but he is worth it!

I have used Beaverdale Animal Hospital for years. They are a dedicated to help all pets my first dog Annie was cared for by Beaverdale for 7 years and she lived till 12 unfortunately she had an inoperable cancer. I always recieved excellent care for Annie at a great price compared to other Vets. Recently I took my new Puppy Hugo a basset hound he was sick with diahrea. They diagnosed him fast with parvovirus and with great treatment he recovered and is running around like a new puppy. They saved Hugo's life and the cost was less than expected. I would not trust any other vet with my beloved pets health. They explain all treatments and cost upfront and they updated me on Hugo's condition twice a day. They answered all our concerns and questions and followed up with instructions and n home care. I highly recommend Beaverdale as an excellent Veterinary Clinic. Tracey Haskett.

I will never go back to this Animal Hospital, Our dog was injured, we were given two estimates, A low and a high, Not having a choice we had to get the dog help and in the end pain the high estimate plus extras. I dont think she realy needed to be put under to get stitches in her leg, nor do i believe she needed iv fluids for the four hours she was there.She is a well behaved dog and im sure some local freezing would have been fine. This place is the reason why people dont get help when there animals are injured our bill was over $600.Thats just not right.
