We are new to Brantford and were looking for a vet for our 2 dogs. After calling 5 different places which I was told they were not taking new patients. My Lab/Beagle was having severe diarrhea and bleeding, but even the 2 hospitals wouldn't take him. I called Shellard Lane Animal Hospital and they gave me an appointment for the next day and sounded genuinely concerned about Jake. The technician I dealt with was absolutely lovely and asked all the right questions and Dr. Meghan was extremely helpful after checking Jake out and explained everything to me very clearly. Glad I found them and happy to bring my dogs to them.

Was there today. Did not have an appointment and drove there by Taxi. We were to wait in the waiting room and they were able to be assist us a bit earlier than expected. The receptionist was very friendly and one could see our baby felt comfortable. Susan, our vet, was AWESOME. She went above and beyond in her checkup with our furbaby and tested things I have never seen be tested before. She assisted us with options of treatment and enough information for us to be able to make a decision. This place deserves a mark of 10 out of 5 if it was possible.

My dog Shiloh came in for her first visit this morning. We were both immensely pleased with Dr. "Meghan". She immediately put my fur baby at ease by getting down on the floor to greet her. Once down on Shiloh's level she did her exam there as well. My little girl responded so well that I will be bringing her here from now on.

Our dog Guinness had his first visit there yesterday, I wish I had switched him earlier! He has never had such a thorough exam, and they actually took the time to listen to me about his ear issues. They made sure to treat his infection properly, instead of just using a cookie cutter method our previous vet used that was not helping. I would and will recommend this clinic to anyone. The vet got right down on the floor with Guinness and made him feel comfortable. All the staff were great!

This hospital is amazing! I went there just because it was close to my house and my dog needed immediate relief from suffering a torn nail and foing to the animal hospital i always went to before ( Beattie Animal Hospital) was just too far and too much time consuming in this situation. And Wow! The service I got was amazing! Quick, caring and very good. My dog was taken care at the time of my appointment. The doctor explained very well what was the nature of this injury and how to take care of my dog. She was patient caring and just a person who loves animals. The assistant was just like her too! So right from the first moment after i entered the hospital front door i felt like i was taken care of right away. Ibonly wish we humans had a chance to experience this lwvel of care at our hospitals. I love this place and i moved allbthe paperwork for my two dogs here.

Today Beau and Jolais our 3 month old Coton Puppies had their second appointment.....Dr.Meghan Goodrow and Rebecca were so attentive. kind and loving to our two babies......they were a little shy but with a few treats and a soft kind approach we had the best visit ever.....the information I received and the things I learned for our pups was incredible.....We are so pleased we have found you and we look foward of many years of visiting the clinic.

We are new to Brantford and were looking for a vet for our 2 dogs. After calling 5 different places which I was told they were not taking new patients. My Lab/Beagle was having severe diarrhea and bleeding, but even the 2 hospitals wouldn't take him. I called Shellard Lane Animal Hospital and they gave me an appointment for the next day and sounded genuinely concerned about Jake. The technician I dealt with was absolutely lovely and asked all the right questions and Dr. Meghan was extremely helpful after checking Jake out and explained everything to me very clearly. Glad I found them and happy to bring my dogs to them.

Today Beau and Jolais our 3 month old Coton Puppies had their second appointment.....Dr.Meghan Goodrow and Rebecca were so attentive. kind and loving to our two babies......they were a little shy but with a few treats and a soft kind approach we had the best visit ever.....the information I received and the things I learned for our pups was incredible.....We are so pleased we have found you and we look foward of many years of visiting the clinic.
