I have been going here for 4 years. The staff have always been amazing. They make sure my fur babies are comfortable and calm throughout the appointments. I can tell all staff really love animals. They never rush the appointments and always make me feel very welcome and well informed. They always follow up with a call after the appointment to check that my fur babies are ok. They were extremely unhelpful as I was trying to get a deworming pill for my newest cat. She is still traumatized from her previous owners and I didn't want to stress her out even more. They claimed I had to bring her in as it was against the law to give deworming medication out. This is untrue as I simply went to a different vet and they sold it to me no problem. I have three cats and they lost my business all to try and make an extra $80 on a consultation. I live in Breslau and will prefer to drive into Guelph for all my animals needs. Read Less

We were referred to Breslau Animal Hospital by a friend about a year ago when we adopted our first kitten. We now have 3, and love the experience we have when we visit. Dr. Melillo is our vet and she is always sweet, gentle and genuine and caring. We never feel rushed, and she always makes us feel comfortable asking questions. The vet is very nice, fair prices. We took our dog to a previous place and they took us for our money. This vet was able to see what was wrong with our dog and help her without trying rip us off. We were recommended to go to this vet, and happy about taking our dog here.Read Less

My wife took our basset with a pulled back. The vet lied and told my wife that we needed to get $500 x-ray for a chyropraktor to take him in as a patient. She told she would do $500 as my wife was with our 7 month old and the vet UNDERSTOOD" that it was a big expense. When we picked up our dog and when I was putting him in the car I noticed that there was drops of blood all over the back if the car. When I took a closer look I noticed that they did not even take the iv out of his paw Long story short $500 later we took our dog to the chyropraktor which was only $35 bucks and did wonders for him, but at no point did the chyropraktor need or ask for the x-ray. This place does not care about the animals or the people that bring them in. A simple emergency turned in to a 700 unnecessary expense just beacuse the vet knew she could take advantage of the situation. We were also told that she could not do his regular check up and that we would have to make a return visit for his shots. She did assure me that they would only charge $35 as it was a return. Why would I get charged a return visit when it cost me $700 with meds I never leave reviews but i felt that people should know what this vet is all about before they make the same mistake I did.Read Less
