Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
I never thought that I would ever see the day that I argued with a Staff member at Appleview because they could NOT find a moment to click a button to forward an email regarding blood results (re: my dying dog ) because they're "too busy and do that at the end of the day." And who cares that I was called at the end of the day regarding blood results despite knowing my dog already had been diagnosed with CKD (kidney disease) months prior (I wasn't offered any plan or strategy to combat it either). Time is NOT of the essence huh? It certainly is with anything kidney related. Prioritize! Instead, arguing with me on the phone for 5 mins became the priority. In that 5 mins, she could have forwarded 200 emails.
It seems like the money is far more important than the Client at this point. The care @ Appleview is non existent now. And this is coming from someone who has been a Client there for 20 years with 3 different pets!
I have no idea who these girls are at the fore front anymore, but guess what?
These are the very people that represent YOU and YOUR practice when you're not paying attention! It's sad because Stuart and Sarah are nice, but are clearly taking on more than they can manage at this point. The quality & care = EUTHANIZED.
I won't be returning ever.
PS Be forewarned. Even with a negative PCR test, they still won't allow even one person in their facility during a euthanization.

Don't reccomend working here! Dr. Sarah is a lot and borderline crazy. All day long all you will hear is "STUART!!!!!" "OH MY GOD *EMPLOYEE NAME* COME HERE QUICK!!!!!!"- you come and she will say "can you grab that for me?" Or something very not urgent. Dr. Stuart was great, but anytime I was working for her, it was so irritating and unbearable I found a reason to leave. The pay is not worth the screetchy little voice yelling at at and everyone else all day.
Not to mention she really sucked at her job, the practices are unprofessional, old school and not in the best interest of the pet. Would not reccomend as a client either.

I've been trusting this pet clinic for close to 20 years with all my fur-babies. I've always found them to be straightforward and reasonable. I have had aging/ailing cats that they have been very compassionate with and helped us manage comfortably through the end of life as well as new babies they are always enthusiastic to share the joy with. I've moved out of Burlington but I continue to do here because I wouldn't dream of taking my pets anywhere else. Irene

I want to preface this by saying we've been going to this clinic since my dog and cat were babies. April 1st, my cat started coughing and stopped eating. We took him to this vet. What could have been a simple visit turned into the worst day of my life.
After doing a few simple routine tests, the prognosis was that my cat had congestive heart failure or cancer, though we were certain something was stuck in his throat. He offered all of the expensive diagnostics but ended up coming to the conclusion that we should put him down due to his age. Since this happened to our old cat, my dad requested antibiotics and food even though the vet insisted that he wouldn't survive and was suffering.
My dad thought my cat was going to die one night when he saw something stuck to his fur. My cat had coughed up a twig. Now he's happy and healthy.
This is the SECOND time we were told to put down a cat when the solution was simple and non-life threatening. Not only would he refuse to talk to me because I was emotional, but it felt as though there was more a motivation behind how much money they could get out of us instead of coming to a real prognosis. This was a simple problem that the vet refused to take our word on and I almost lost my best friend because of this clinic's incompetence. Word of warning to anyone who is told to put their beloved pet down, please think twice. I will never be giving my business to this clinic ever again.

Finally I found this clinic where the doctors care more about animals than their bank account. I got a very detailed, patient and honest explanation of all scenarios in a difficult situation with an emphasis on what's beneficial to my dog. No gimmicks, only professional service. Highly recommended.

I have dealt with Dr. Stuart Woolard multiple times and he is very patient with our questions and gives us honest answers, never trying to up-sell services or products, and cares for the pets. The experience from the moment you step in the door is great. The vet technicians know both my dogs by name and are so great with them. Both vets are extremely personable and caring. They do not push unnecessary tests and are very accurate with costs of everything. I could not be happier!!! My family has been going here for nearly 10 years.

Having 3 dogs, the vet visits get get very pricy. Appleview is fairly priced but with the same amount of care and professionalism. I recommend you make the switch.

Terrible care, rude staff, incompetent admin team. They prescribe antibiotics for EVERYTHING so they can make more money, even when not suitable. Oh yeah, good luck getting you pets records transferred; took me weeks, they try to hold you ransom. Much better vets in Burlington, do your pet a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Don't reccomend working here! Dr. Sarah is a lot and borderline crazy. All day long all you will hear is "STUART!!!!!" "OH MY GOD *EMPLOYEE NAME* COME HERE QUICK!!!!!!"- you come and she will say "can you grab that for me?" Or something very not urgent. Dr. Stuart was great, but anytime I was working for her, it was so irritating and unbearable I found a reason to leave. The pay is not worth the screetchy little voice yelling at at and everyone else all day.

Terrible care, rude staff, incompetent admin team. They prescribe antibiotics for EVERYTHING so they can make more money, even when not suitable. Oh yeah, good luck getting you pets records transferred; took me weeks, they try to hold you ransom. Much better vets in Burlington, do your pet a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
