Over the past Thirty plus years, I have had many Furry Family Members whom I have had from birth to old age, those I have rescued and a few I fostered. In recent days I had the pleasure to meet both Doctors at Burlington Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital through traveling to the GTA for family reasons. My Beagle, Dolly and little Faith, my Shih Tzu needed care after arriving. When visiting the hospital, meeting the Doctors and having toured the facility, I was very impressed. In ...all my visits to Veterinary clinics over the years, I have never had a tour of the entire hospital. When viewing all that was offered and having seen the latest technology.., I had everything both Dolly and Faith needed done to bring them up to date until next year. Faith was in need of a surgery which was performed today. After much conversation, three quotes from others and after much research, I was completely at peace to have Dr Michael Aziz and Dr Mohsen Ghobrial care for Faith. For the first time, I was able to be there with her in the pre operating area and also was able to hold her / talk to her when the monitors were removed and while she was coming out of Anestesia. An experience I will treasure forever. To be there when she can see and hear again along with the Doctors. I was never permitted past the reception desk in any other clinic or hospital. Having much experience with pets, I was made to feel completely comfortable there and had no fear of having their team care for Faith. Faith is out of surgery and recovering well.
