General Info
We are a one veterinarian practice so you always know who you are going to see. We also like the fact that this gives us the chance to get to know our clients and patients well. Since we have been in this location for almost 18 years, we are now seeing the children of our original clients with their own pets. Being a one vet practice you might think that we cannot be as well-equipped as a larger practice, but in fact we have laser surgery, in house lab equipment, excellent anesthetic monitoring, digital Xray, dental Xray and (our favourite) the therapeutic laser (incredibly good for swelling, pain and arthritis amoungst other benefits). Our small size allows us to create whatt one client called a "boutique" hospital, where our patients are right up front with us and surgeries are limited to 3 procedures a day.

I took my beloved healthy dog for a simple surgery (spayed) and dr Sharon Kennedy Vleming can’t handle the surgery and I lost my dog; my dog died after Hours bleeding to death on my arms ,we are heartbroken Please if you love your pet Don’t go to this place they could care less and arguing blame us for the pet dead.I WISH I NEVER TOOK MY PET TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE 👎🏻

Lovely vet and vet techs that actually love animals and their jobs, which sounds strange but I have met vets that cannot stand animals. They have a few clinic cats that roam around, they are very comfortable telling your dog where to go if their sleep is being disturbed.

Great place to go, the people here are wonderful and always there to help. My cat had been suffering from a skin irritation for almost a year, I had been going somewhere else and the medication they had given just wasn't working, long story short I switched after recommendation to Sharon and my cats skin irritation cleaned up in a few days and has been gone ever since. Really recommend going here.

Mountainside has been my vet since i got my first dog over 2 1/2 year ago, my dog has always been in the best care with these people and they have worked greatly with myself and my dog. They are so caring and are very helpful with any questions i have/had. They are respectful and very happy to see you when you walk in the door. I will continue to bring my dog here for as long as she needs it when she needs it.

Thank you to Dr. Sharon and the Mountainside staff for all the help and support during these past few days. We are not 'regulars' at Mountainside but, because our vet is away, we took our little cat there when she became very sick. Dr. Sharon saw us immediately! We appreciated the kind, efficient manner in which she checked Calli...we also appreciated her honesty. All subsequent test choices were explained to us. There was no pressure and all fees were presented up front. Our special thanks go to Melissa. We will never forget her kindness, her consideration of our feelings and her efforts to do everything possible to help our little cat...and us!! There is a lot to be said for small neighbourhood animal hospitals where one can still find that caring, personal touch. Thank you Mountainside!!!!!

Great place to go, the people here are wonderful and always there to help.
