Terrible place abusive to pets they said 24 hours my cat wouldn't still be feeling groggy they lied. They filled her up with drugs my sweet kitten is now aggressive and hisses and growls. Our family dog is also groggy and unwell. My family's other kitten is in the same groggy state. The other kitten is acting in the same way as my kitten. For veterinarians to claim they are professional's from what my family and I have experienced I believe their claims to being professionals is untrue and i believe no one else should experience what we are going through with the family pets who are members of our family. I will NEVER take my dog to this vet again NEVER... My small 15 lb dog, had recently been attacked by another dog at an off leash park, and I had brought him to Walkers Line Veterinary Hospital . The Vet Jaffery Iftikhar Almost immediately said.. It is going to be Expensive ... It was going to be $750.00 after taxes .I asked why? just for a couple stiches ? He stated No... The dog has to be put under to have it cleaned and stitched... I explained, I did not want my dog put under, as I had just recently lost a dog that was put under for for teeth cleaning . He said " That's the chance you take"" I suggested maybe a local and pill to make him drowsy and I would hold my dog. He said no. So I declined. He gave me antibiotics, did nothing for my dog, not even cleaning of the wound. And I got a bill of 120.00 for him doing nothing... I took my dog home ,spoke with my husband, and decided to take him to another vet. By this time no other Vet was open, so I took him to Burlington Emergency Hospital Open 24hrs. The Vet there, Shaved and Cleaned the Wound, Gave 2 Staples to the laceration, WITHOUT having to put him UNDER. Dressed the wound and gave me Pain killers for his pain. All for 188.98 out the door .NOT $750.00.. As Walkers was trying to charge me.. 70 dollars more than Walkers Line Veterinary Hospital , CHARGED ME FOR DOING NOTHING. Where as Burlington Emergency Hospital actually Helped my dog. Never Again.. Read Less

Always a great experience. We first started going here when we were dissatisfied with our current vet and needed a change of pace. We found them after doing a little research online and our first pet to be brought over was our Beardie. The staff were pleasant and great to interact with. Dr. Jaffery is always very compassionate when doing examinations. He took great care with our Bearded Dragon. We also now bring in our Dog to him since we got her as a puppy. She has always been well looked after. As a point of comparison we once had our pup with us well taking a family members dog to our old vet. Soon as she got near the door to that office she froze and wouldn't go any further. Here she always barrels in ready for treats and pets and whatever else needs to happen. As well An important thing to us also is being able to make our own decisions based on research and the information provided to us and not feel pressured into making quick choices. I don't ever feel pressured here, and it allows us to think through and make better decisions for our pets. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend switching if you're like looking for an alternative. Read Less
