Best vet. I used this office for my king shepherd/labrador ret. Mix until he passed away. And now with my 14 month old husky mix. My husky mix struggles with seasonal allergies and hot spots. Dr. Martineau was amazing with cleaning and treating them, as well as gave me cheaper options for when I'm really in a pickle. She will suggest products they sell in their vet office, but if you ask will give you alternatives(if they exist). I love the care and time she puts into each animal she treats. The vets are knowledgeable.. main issue is that it's a business first and vet second. Everything is trying to up sell. The prices are high in the first place and when your animal is sick is the worst time to fend off all the extras they try to stick you with.. dirty strategy.. if it wasn't a small town vet it would need to compete with other vets and wouldnt survive the way it operates. Very good vet. She very patient with the animal. I have a Great Dane, of almost 2 year old, when my house burnt down and I had no were to have my dog look after will I go to work. They keeped him for a full day, pampered him, for a BIG amount of 0.00$ was very appreciated. Read Less

Dr. Martineau always took such great care of my dogs on routine check-ups and offered us unbelievable support and compassion when illness struck. She is a very caring, honest doctor who tries to save her customers money any way she can ... this is a rare find! We are very pleased with the way the staff at this veterinary hospital work. Today we took our Samoyed, Celine, in for her regular vaccines. Dr Martineau was so kind and patient with us and Celine. Just got informed from a close friend of mine, a former client of the nation vet, who only left because she got a cheaper prices for her 10 dogs from another vet. She found a kitten on the side of the road. Crusty eyes, dehydrated, etc. she was on her way to the city so she rushed in with him asking for him to be treated and she would return on her way back to pick it up. They declined her because she wasn't a client. They risked the livelihood of this poor kitten because she wasn't a client... Anymore. She's so mad that they turned her down with a sick kitten she just found, I'm outraged. I recently had to go to a different vet with my sick cat, I did not get turned down.
