The staff here are incredible. They are friendly, kind, knowledgeable and full of empathy/love for animals. I have never spent more time with a vet in all my years as they give you at this establishment. They take the time to explain everything in detail and have impressed me with their broad knowledge and expertise. This is my forever vet clinic. My pets are an extension of my family and mean the world to me so I couldn’t be more glad that I found a place that I 100% trust. :)

I have been with Peterborough West Animal Hospital for over a decade now. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. They have saved the life of my pets, ended suffering of them and all the regular day to day vet stuff. Caring, compassionate and knowledgeable staff. Cant say enough good things!

After a horrible experience of previous veterinarian I was paranoid to go to any other veterinarian. Peterborough animal West Hospital spent quite a while with me explaining things and even gave me some information about my dog at a routine check-up that I was never told before. They seem to be very educated and have been in the business for over 25 years. That makes me feel very comfortable! People love their animals like family and it is important to find a veterinarian that really cares. They also have great follow-up systems. Thanks for your help!

Fantastic. Went from Cavan Hills who spent all of 2 min per visit to almost an hour long initial visit here for a fraction of the cost. The 2 meds that I know the prices of from both vets are 1/3 chea...
Fantastic. Went from Cavan Hills who spent all of 2 min per visit to almost an hour long initial visit here for a fraction of the cost. The 2 meds that I know the prices of from both vets are 1/3 cheaper at Peterborough West. We have gone through 4 months of one issue after another with our dog. Finally when she could barely walk Cavan looked at her for 2 min and said they think it is hypothyroidism and took blood work. They called when the results were in to say that is what it was and to come pick up the meds. I transferred her to Peterborough West who saw her for an hour and found other secondary issues as well that had been wrongly diagnosed. After 2 days I already see great improvement in her coat and having her zest back. After 4 months of the real problem being missed it is great to finally have answers and have someone take the time to explain it all to me.

We took our Buddy there for our first visit and were very happy with the staff and service, looking forward to seeing the place once the renovations are complete. We will be taking our Leo there soon ...
We took our Buddy there for our first visit and were very happy with the staff and service, looking forward to seeing the place once the renovations are complete. The service was absolutely fantastic in getting Willie (my 15 year old cat) back to normal. The staff including Dr. Sargent and Dr. Griffin took the time to thoroughly explain everything and also made Willie feel at home as he did not seem upset at all to be there.

The 2 meds that I know the prices of from both vets are 1/3 cheaper at Peterborough West. We have gone through 4 months of one issue after another with our dog.
