ok, well I have gone to them for many years and had a great repour with Bill. I had a boxer with many issues and paid them many thousands of dollars. I will never go there again. I ended up in a custody dispute over the dog with a bad woman, they wrote her a letter for court insinuating she was the only owner. I confronted them and they lied and tried to make up reasons why it was done.. Since Bill left they haven't helped my dog once but have collected enough money. As Bill once said we paid for a new wing at the hospital. I find what they did not only ignorant as they don't know me personally but also dishonest as a business.. I have sent people there but I never again. Taunton is way better priced and I doubt I have to worry about them listening tryi ng to screw mw out of a dog I have $20,000 invested in.

I am so excited we found this Vet! Went through a few after moving- but nobody was that good with the animals. Dr. Carol is AMAZING with Ralph. And the tech who took his blood a little while ago was amazing! He reluctantly but willingly went to the back room (most vets just drag him back). We heard the tech had him wiggling his bum and barely noticed what was really happening haha.
This is by far the best vet! (Even better than our dt toronto one were sad about leaving).

After just one visit I feel very confident that we will have a long relationship with Clarington Animal Hospital!

They look after ferrets which is great. My ferret gets wonderful care here and they're always very gentle and patient with her. She gets her ferret distemper and rabies shot here as well as checkups.

I have been taking our animals to Clarington Animal Hospital for about 3 years. I have always had a positive experience. The staff are all very helpful in every situation. They show great compassion & clearly work in the business because they love animals. I have birds, hamsters, a cat, a dog & a new puppy. I feel very confidant that they always receive quality care. The rates are also the most reasonable I have ever encountered. They try to limit costs & do not push treatments just to run up the bill. I switched vets due to this issue. Even if I move far away, I would continue to bring my pets here!!!

Tried to get an appointment for my Lovebird with no success . Due to my schedule I can only make appointments after six pm during the week or after 12:30 pm on Saturday. Although Clarington Animal Hospital is open until 7:00 pm on weekdays and 2:00 pm on Saturdays they say I would have to be there by 6:00 pm on weekdays and on Saturdays the doctors leave at 12:00 pm and they are open until 2:00 only for sales of food etc. No one outside of Toronto treats birds other than Dr.Ingram. We where one of his first customers years ago when he first opened shop and he is a good vet. . My Ritson Vet has better hours and great vets but they don't look after birds. I'm very upset by the lack of compassion when there is no other avian Vet here.

Long story short, we ended up taking our new Golden Retriever puppy to see Dr. Carol after our regular vet not only wouldn't see us until the next morning, but began quoting some really expensive treatments over the phone. We had what appeared to be an emergency but wanted to get an opinion before hitting the emergency vet, for obvious reasons.
We called Clarington and they said "Yep, sounds important: Bring him right in". Dr. Carol immediately identified the issue and it wasn't even close to what our regular vet was going on about. We know emergencies are going to cost more, but when you immediately mention the $1,200 treatments before you've even seen the dog, we'll pass.
The price was a fraction of what we were apparently going to be charged and our dog was (and continues to be) fine. We just brought him in for his round of shots and they cut us a break on the exam fee as well. Needless to say we have switched vets and will bring our cat here as well.
Friendly staff, reasonable rates and clients aren't treated simply as life support systems for our debit cards.

Karr had Dr. Jackie today and might I add she's amazing as well as the staff. Thank you for taking care of my fur baby since he stepped foot in your clinic. Staff and Vets listen and get to know your animals. Amazing, loving, understanding, caring and they take a lot of notes. Thank you everyone I fully trust Karr within your hands. Since it opened, Dr. Bill and the staff at the Clarington Animal Hospital have kept excellent care of all my fur-babies. About 2 years ago we found out my cat, Jakoby, is diabetic. Everyone was excellent - they showed me how to properly test his glucose levels, administer his insulin, and basically everything that I needed to do to keep him happy and healthy. Both of our dogs think everyone there is the greatest person in the world and they love their snuggles and pets! We highly recommend this veterinarian to everyone and have referred a number of people over the years.

My creature family and I have been coming to the Clarington Animal Hospital since it opened ?Late 90s? Multiple cherished pets: dogs, cats, lizards have always, I repeat, always received excellent, even exceptional care from vets and staff. Many of the original folks still work there... Speaks volumes. Thanks guys, for being there for my babies and me, all these years and best of luck in the future!

I love the staff and doctors. I've been using them for 8 years they have great bedside manner at time of loss and very good with animals. I feel the love that they have for animals every time I visit.

I am so excited we found this Vet! Went through a few after moving- but nobody was that good with the animals. Dr. Carol is AMAZING with Ralph. Since it opened, Dr. Bill and the staff at the Clarington Animal Hospital have kept excellent care of all my fur-babies. About 2 years ago we found out my cat, Jakoby, is diabetic. I love the staff and doctors. I've been using them for 8 years they have great bedside manner at time of loss and very good with animals. I feel the love that they have for animals every time I visit.
