Courtice Pet Clinic

By far the WORST and most unprofessional vet I have ever been to. My dog was having severe allergic reactions causing major blisters and wounds and the vet barely looked at him, only prescribed two weeks worth of antibiotics (minimum should be 3 weeks) and told me to come back when the antibiotics were done. I went back two weeks later and the infection was still present and again, barely looking at my dog, she then administered three weeks worth of antibiotics (which is overkill at that point) and wouldn't prescribe less. Also, clear as day on my FIRST invoice was that the follow-up for more antibiotics was covered on my initial "consult" fee and when I went back the second time they charged me the full amount again - so I questioned it and they went into the backroom and came up, changed it in the system and handed me the debit machine not even telling me what they were charging me. They still charged me a 75$ fee!!! But wouldn't show me the bill until after I paid. The vet wasn't able to give me any answers, barely looked at the skin infection, and didn't seem to care at all for the well being of my dog. I have NEVER returned to this vet and would never recommend them to anybody. Read Less

Dr. Hamilton takes such amazing care of our dog... She actually gets excited to go to the vet! We are so lucky to have him close by. The staff are all so friendly and really love the pets they treat. They always make their best efforts to see you promptly if you have an urgent issue, and call to check up after a few days. Prices are good and they are great with insurance companies and paperwork to make your life easier. Read Less

I will NEVER return to Dr. Hamilton€s clinic after he over charged me for treatment he never gave my pet. The Courtice Pet Clinic failed to properly treat my guinea pig after being kept or three days in their cage, returning him to me in worse condition than I dropped him off in. Due to the horrid care he received, he was euthanized after going through a week of failed €treatment€, after he became skin and bones, too weak to lift his own head or walk. Ok, I am just a new client, but have taken a client dog here prior - love the way it gives a warm down home feel but very professional. Our newest little one Penelope LOVES Dr. Hamilton (her little tail couldn't go any faster and she is always full of puppy dog kisses). Dr Hamilton is so amazing with all my animals takes the extra time to personally call and answers all questions. I can't say enough about the girls Jennifer and Amanda who always helps even when I call in panic when one of my dogs has an issue.would totally recommend this office been going there for about 8 years now Read Less

I love Dr. Hamilton. He is kind, and caring and is very patient. I had to bring my very sick cat in, and after exhausting all options, and not knowing what he was sick from, we had to put him down. He was there throughout the whole process, explained every single test that was being done, and was very kind and thoughtful when we put our cat down. I wouldn't go to anyone else! Read Less

I will never go to another vet!! Dr Hamilton is a caring doctor who goes above and beyond for his animals!! I have had nothing but incredible experiences with this vet!! My dog feels comfortable and safe there which is rare for a dog to like a vet!! Jennifer is pleasant, caring, informative and accommodating when booking apts. never have I hesitated to call for advice or with concerns! Wer new to the area and needed a new vet to take our two dogs to. This place took us for our money. After hundereds of unessesary dollars spent here Im never going back! Front desk service sucks.... dr waited till my dogs problem got worse to tell me about preventative measures but it was too late.....surgery was the next step. Still looking for a good vet.Read Less
