Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.They charged me $327 to xray, examine my dog without my permission and tell me that my dog has CANCER. When I took her to see a vet oncologist in oakville, turns out she doesnt have cancer. The emotional turmoil I was put through and the unprofessional nature of the appointment literally ruined two weeks of my life. The Vet at Dundas made it sound like my dog was literally on the verge of death.. Then when I called to complain and ask for a refund (which I never do) Dr. Middleton who owns the place said she had no intention of giving me one even though my dog was MISDIAGNOSED and the way the information was presented to me was inappropriate- this was agreed by the oncologist I took her to that said she agreed that the vets at dundas animal hospital should have never said that to me. Save yourself the trouble. They are not good vets here.. ESP not Dr. Hall who is their orthopedic surgeon who looked at my dog (without my presence or knowledge) and said there was NOTHING wrong with her leg when in fact she has a torn cruciate ligament. RED FLAG when an old season orthopedic SURGEON cannot identify the ORTHOPEDIC PROBLEM,

My poor cat has had an on going ear infection pretty much since I got her back in January and I was at a different clinic where I felt like they just wanted my money, put her on medication that didn’t help and didn’t take the time to find out what was going on. So after a few frustrated visits I decided to switch to the Dundas Animal Hospital and I am SO glad I did!!! They are wonderful! They take the time to find the source of the issue, they are calm and gentle with my cat, they are friendly and so much more!! I would definitely recommend this clinic!! Thank you Dundas Animal Hospital!!

My family has chosen our family pet care from the Dundas Animal hospital for as long as I can remember. They recruit compassionate, capable, thorough veterinary clinicians. We have quite the family of animals. We are glad this hospital is on our community. Thank you for the great care.

Staff is friendly, listens to concerns, during a pretty scary time for me when my dogs tail was injured they were happy to check the wound and make time for my questions.

Ive been going to this place for 8-9 years now with my third pet this time (currently an abandoned kitten, first pet being a cat I adopted from there and second is my current 85 pound German Shepherd)...
Ive been going to this place for 8-9 years now with my third pet this time (currently an abandoned kitten, first pet being a cat I adopted from there and second is my current 85 pound German Shepherd) who is very sick. I went to a previous vet that was open late on Sunday that Im pretty sure overcharged me and charged me for multiple medicines that were deemed useless in just a day. The people there have always been very nice, very careful when opening the door, not scared of large animals (my huge German Shepherd), and definitely have always showed compassion for their work. Always multiple (3-5) people on site to help as well which is great. The kitten is very ill and I could sense how much they saw urgency to get her better which I didn't experience at any other vet nor the one before which didn't help at all and was twice as much money as well.... Got the appointment the same day and no wait. Thank you guys for always being great! Btw Mazzy has started to meow and swallows the food!

The worst experience ever. We brought our 11 year old dog in very weak condition with lost appetite , barely walking, afraid of the slippery shiny floors. The stuff was very unfriendly and not helpf...
The worst experience ever. We brought our 11 year old dog in very weak condition with lost appetite , barely walking, afraid of the slippery shiny floors. The stuff was very unfriendly and not helpfull at all. the nurse acted as a doctor asking us all details about the problems and she didn't introduce herself as one. we weres under the impression that she was the vet since it was our first time there. The desk staff was very unfriendly too except for one young girl (probably a student) . after paying $200 we went home with nothing pretty much, no solution for his appetite. The doctor didn't even care to examine carefully his ears in spite of my mention that he had an ear problem a month ago. Total ignorance towards older bigger dogs. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

I've been taking my cat there for about 3 years now. I think they are fairly good and haven't had any negative experiences with them however some services are expensive.

We have used dundas for are large animal and small animals at the farm for over 35 years , honest as the days long and have always been pleased with Dundas Hospital service

I use Dr Middleton for my horse and I think he's great! He's very friendly, handles Brody well, and is great at explaining things to us. He was even friendly when i asked if he could add a sheath clea...
I use Dr Middleton for my horse and I think he's great! He's very friendly, handles Brody well, and is great at explaining things to us. He was even friendly when i asked if he could add a sheath cleaning after floating a bunch of horse's teeth(i forgot to make it part of the appointment aha)...and when we ran into him on the street he remembered who we were. Highly recommended using him :)

Have been with this vet for 1 year. The care/ advice is reasonable but their use of additional charges are wildly unfair. We had recently needed a prescription for antibiotics for our dog and we said ...
Have been with this vet for 1 year. The care/ advice is reasonable but their use of additional charges are wildly unfair. We had recently needed a prescription for antibiotics for our dog and we said we would like for them to write us a prescription (the in-house antibiotic changes are very unreasonable). They charged us an extra 15$ dollars for a "prescription fee", which seriously?....well whatever. But then they slapped on another 10$ for a "prescription recording fee". So it was another 25$ just to get a prescription written, and not to obtain the drug. These are in addition to the cost of the appointment (45$). I think this practice is shameful and should be discouraged. People are getting charged unfairly with hidden costs--costs that should be included in the cost of the appointment.If you are a new customer to this vet, I would encourage you to inquire about their pricing breakdown on any bills, as they may be hiding additional costs.

We have a large breed dog whom is very well behaved, and she did not receive proper care because the vet was too scared of her to properly care for her.

My poor cat has had an on going ear infection pretty much since I got her back in January and I was at a different clinic where I felt like they just wanted my money, put her on medication that didn’t help and didn’t take the time to find out what was going on. So after a few frustrated visits I decided to switch to the Dundas Animal Hospital and I am SO glad I did!!! They are wonderful!
