Hello everyone
I would like to thank you for your understanding and caring for my Dog Blanco for last 35 days with his Diagnosis ( Diabetes) it was so difficult and overwhelming stress I have been going through hard times he almost died. I know my Dog a pretty old but Dr Angela and Dr David Mills did their best to save him , Dr Mills gave lots of advices what to do and how to deal with my Dog I appreciate his efforts so much. Blanco now doing much better his eating well his appetite is improving so much.
And I would like thank the whole staff technicians too for helping me .

My-A just celebrated her 9th birthday!!! As a pup was severely immunocompromised. Her dad who suffered from same condition, passed from complete organ failure before 2 years of age. My-A was fortunate...
My-A just celebrated her 9th birthday!!! As a pup was severely immunocompromised. Her dad who suffered from same condition, passed from complete organ failure before 2 years of age. My-A was fortunate to have Dr. Angela Whelan - a very forward, progressive yet practical vet. Looking forward to My-A making it to at least 13 if not 15 years old. In Calgary now - educating her current vet on "correct" way of doing things...lol. My-A is on thyroid meds now - only ever "allowed" rabies shots before so as not to upset delicately balanced immune system. Explained to vet the hows and why's of My-A having bloodwork not only for thyroid levels but liver/kidney markers. Thank you so much, Dr. Whelan - eternally grateful not only for My-A but Kai, Jessie, Tango, Molly, Fred and Moe. Miss you lots!!!!

Dr. Whelan is phenomenal! I first started using her when she was working at Blue Cross Animal Hospital. At the time I had a severely epileptic dog and when she opened Spencer Creek Animal Hospital in Dundas I followed her there. {Think I was one of her first clients....lol). Have owned many dogs over the years with a multitude of health issues. Dr. Whelan is proactive and compassionate. I would highly recommend her.

We had our 20 year old cat euthanized today.
Although it was Extremely traumatic to make this decision, we were very appreciative of the special care and concern of all the supportive staff and to Dr.Stubbs for her gentle and caring manner in helping Budgers
Pass within seconds with no sign of distress.
I highly recommend this business for going Above and Beyond in the care of our fur-baby

Unfortunately our dear orange and white cat was hit by a car and passed way before my husband could get him to the vet. The staff was so kind and understood how devistated we were. I have transferred all my animal files to them. Thank you for helping us during a tough time.

No matter what vet helps me here they're always good to my poor cat. He is so scared of any vet situation. They're always understanding and caring, taking their time with him if need be and educating ...
No matter what vet helps me here they're always good to my poor cat. He is so scared of any vet situation. They're always understanding and caring, taking their time with him if need be and educating me how to best care for my man. Even today when I was distraught they were good to me. Very thankful to have them around.

Dr. Angela Whelan has been providing healthcare for my cats since 1997. She is kind both towards pets and their people. She saw 2 of my cats through the entire course of their life (13 &18 years) and supported them in a gentle death. She continues to provide care for my current 15 year old cat. She takes time to discuss any concerns and answer questions. She offers options and doesn't necessarily recommend the course of costly tests and treatment. She appreciates how much people love their pets and treats animals with respect and recognizes their intrinsic worth.

I've been taking my pets here for over 7 years and would never want to find another vet - Dr. Christine Stubbs is awesome! First with my ferrets, and now with our two dogs - it's always been a good experience. We've dealt with Dr. Mills as well and he is just as great!
In response to someone saying she has no compassion - she was with me on two separate occasions when my ferrets had to be put to sleep and she was very emotional and compassionate. If anything I expected her to be more reserved but it was such a nice gesture to have her support. Then I got a letter saying the clinic had made a donation in honour of my pets a few weeks later. Even when I returned to pick up their ashes I received nothing but compassion and understanding from the whole team. I would argue that she is the most compassionate vet I've ever dealt with.

We love this place... Or rather our dogs do! They always go in for boarding over the holidays and get very excited when we pull up... Certainly makes leaving them a bit less worrisome knowing they're in great hands and are having a blast in doggie daycare.

I would like to thank you for your understanding and caring for my Dog Blanco for last 35 days with his Diagnosis ( Diabetes) it was so difficult and overwhelming stress I have been going through hard times he almost died. My-A just celebrated her 9th birthday!!! As a pup was severely immunocompromised. Her dad who suffered from same condition, passed from complete organ failure before 2 years of age. My-A was fortunate to have Dr. Angela Whelan - a very forward, progressive yet practical vet. Looking forward to My-A making it to at least 13 if not 15 years old. At the time I had a severely epileptic dog and when she opened Spencer Creek Animal Hospital in Dundas I followed her there. {Think I was one of her first clients....lol). No matter what vet helps me here they're always good to my poor cat. He is so scared of any vet situation. They're always understanding and caring, taking their time with him if need be and educating me how to best care for my man. Even today when I was distraught they were good to me.
