All the staff are the BEST. Their practice is about healing not just masking. I don't want to give my dog medicine to mask symptoms and never deal with the issue, I don't do this for myself, and I won't for my dog. Other vets are all about feeding man produced food to our pets and making as much money they can from doing unnecessary tests and giving unnecessary medicine. East York Animal Clinic are responsible and want our pets to be their best at all times, so they want to understand and heal issues, not just mask them. I won't ever take my pet to another regular vet - I wish more vets would learn from them. Read Less

I would drive a hundred miles to bring my pets here. Only here. I've moved so much and for convenience, brought my angel elsewhere. They know exactly what to do to give our babies their best possible and longest lives. Traditional vets have destroyed my boy. They may have saved him. Probably too late but they have given me every possible solution, to correct the damage done. Do whatever it takes and seek holistic health for your pets. Read Less

Dr Kneebone is the only vet who's ever been able to help my high maintenance, sensitive cat. He's asthmatic and has IBD type bowel issues with multiple food sensitivities. She found a way controlling inflammation and addressing his asthma in one visit over three years ago. As a result, we only have to resort to (oral) steroids once or twice a year, instead of weekly. We're about to tackle gut inflammation now. So relieved to be back at this clinic after having no choice but to work with three different vets when we lived on the other side of the country. They were all at a loss as to how to help. Read Less

My cat Sassy is reaching the 14 - 15 years old and has arthritis which has worsened over the past few years. She had a limp, could not groom her lower body (which means I had to help her clean her behind every week and clip her back paws' nails once a month) and seemed in a lot of pain on her bad days. An X-ray of her hips, lower back and her tail showed very little space left between her bones . My regular vet prescribed anti pain medication which seemed to work okay (it diminished her limp) but could affect her kidneys over time. A friend had told me about the holistic clinic and out of options I thought I had nothing to lose and would try it out. I was prescribed an oil based on herbs which I started a month ago, mixing it to Sassy's food. Sassy's limp is almost completely gone. The amazing thing (and the reason why I am writing this review) is that this morning for the very first time in years she was grooming her belly and her bottom area. I am really extremely happy. Thank you so much. I had no idea I would be able to see her do this again. It is incredible. Read Less

Stay away from this clinic. We had an appointment for 6pm, and they were 60 minutes late calling us in. We did not get out of the clinic until 7:45pm. It wasted our entire evening. They lied to us over the phone. Stating that this clinic was best for our puppy, as they do not charge a check up fee for his shots after the examination and that they will only charge for the shots. Wrong. They DO charge an exam fee for all the vaccination visits. It was simply a plan to get us in and locked in as clients. They also told us that they only give 3 year rabies vaccinations, but once we went in, they said that it is yearly and can only give the 3 year shot after the puppy is at least 3 years. Either receptionist needs to be trained/fired or they're complete scammers. I believe it is the latter. Coming for the appointment, they said $71 would cover all charges and to bring a poop sample. Not only did they lie about the charges. But they asked for $47 to do a test on the sample. I told them that I chose this clinic based on what was told to me over the phone. They refused to honour their word. They said "looks like you're going to have to find a new clinic." Customer service is very poor. They try to recommend you all their itty bitty services just to make themselves a buck. Save yourself and go elsewhere. This place has no business ethics and not to mention, knowledge. They could have had a dogs lifetime of business but they gave that up just to feed their ego and to only make $71.Read Less
