I'm not impressed. After years of high bills I expected things to even out but we just paid over $650 for an annual of a cat and a dog. They wanted another $350 for meds or $70 for prescriptions so we could purchase elsewhere. We have healthy animals. We just want to keep them that way without breaking the bank. Read Less

Terrrible vet clinic, unnecessary surgeries (dental), customer service lacking out front, one vet in particular suggested many services that upon second opinion were not nessecary. Overpaying for things you do not require and lack of care and compassion from both vets and techs. Many better clinics in Etobicoke area, your pets deserve better! Read Less

I would not go anywhere else for my pets. My older cat is diabetic and has had multiple medical emergencies. I definitely credit the people in this clinic who once saved his life when he was in a critical condition. He is now a very happy cat in his retirement age. Read Less

Dr Korol has been our veterinarian for over 20 years and has cared for all four of our dogs through medical preventive care, medical illnesses, surgeries and palliative care. Most recently he removed an enormous stone from 9 year old Fergus' bladder after he had blood in his urine. Postoperatively our dog had no evidence of pain or any other symptom and is now fine . This was typical of all care rendered to our dogs over all these years. He is supported by a caring wonderful staff. He even treats and adopts personally unwanted severely injured cats and dogs who would otherwise be euthanized. As we said to him recently nobody touches our animals except him. I first took my cat to the Westway Animal Clinic in late 2011 and still use them faithfully to this day. My cat is getting on in years, he's 12 in human years, and last year was challenging for him, many visits and a few surgeries. The staff at the Westway Clinic have been exceptional and I appreciate their attention to detail and the excellent care they have given him. I adopted my cat from the clinic after Dr. Korol and his team took him in. They offer over the top animal care and from the moment you walk into the clinic, you can feel that they do their best in all aspects. Veterinary care can seem pricey to many, but seeing as we do not pay for our own healthcare, I feel that the prices reflect the what the Westway staff offer you and your pet. They are attentive to detail and are supportive whenever you and your pet need it. They follow up with you and you can tell that they see your pet as more than just a client; they truly care about their wellbeing. Being AAHA certified, I can also place my trust in them further as I'm sure AAHA accreditation is not easy to earn. Though the clinic is far from home, I gladly take the commute in order to ensure that my pet is in safe hands. This is seriously the best animal clinic I've come across. Dr Korol and the team are incredibly professional. The clinic is always super clean, I don't know how they keep it like that. So, before I came to Westway Animal Clinic I've tried 4 different vets, and I felt like I couldn't trust any of them. One of the vets was pretty rude and dismissive with me, at another clinic the vet was great, but there was a ton of animal hair everywhere (and my cat's got an eye infection after the visit). I'm sure none of that ever happens to the WAC clients. The doctor and the staff take their time with the animal, they answer all the questions and they also send requested information in a timely manner. I also really like that they are open 7 days a week!!! And their pricing is very good. Long story short, I feel like my cat and I are in good hands at Westway Animal Clinic. This clinic is really as good as it gets. I've been to a some vets before and every single time something would be off. Once, my cat's got an eye infection the day after the visit, then one clinic had tons of different hair on the floor and countertops, and one time the vet was great with the kitty but rude to me.This clinic just blew my mind. Every single staff member is very pleasant and professional. The receptionist, the vet assistant and the doctor himself showed themselves as very caring and knowledgeable professionals. The whole office is super clean. There was no animal hair anywhere, including the staff uniform (and I bet it's hard to keep it that way). The room itself was well cleaned, everything was in it's place looking neat.The Dr Korole explained every procedure thoroughly, was very approachable and caring. He did not push any treatments, did not try to scare me into surgeries or supplements/meds. And he was gentle with my cat, called him by his name, took his time during the exam letting the kitty to get used to the new environment and new hands. The vet assistant or vet technician (not sure about the title) Sergey went through the estimate for the cat's dental cleaning very thoroughly as well, he explained every single thing to be done and left me with no questions. He also was very gentle with the cat.Another good thing about this clinic is reasonable pricing. Price is not the first thing I look at, the quality of care being my primary concern, but it's important too.I feel like my cat and I are in good hands.Thank you guys! Because the condition was incurable, she had to be put down. They made the entire situation as comfortable as it could be given the circumstances, and supported us through what was a horrible day. They even sent us a condolence card and followed up with us thereafter. I've been to a few mediocre vets, but I would put my faith in Westway. Wait times are never long, clinic is bright and clean, and the location is great. I've found a vet to be loyal to. Read Less

Yesterday we just showed up without calling because of the new cough infection and we were seen immediately. They aren't lying when they say walk ins are welcome! We brought our beloved Lily to the clinic when she developed mouth issues. The care and compassion by everyone in the clinic is everything you would want. Our furry family member was treated like one of their own. Sadly our Lily had to go to kitty heaven - but it was done in the least traumatic manner - with great respect for Lily and us. I had the bitter sweet occasion of having been introduced to the Clinic in 2011 when our beloved Gilligan suffered a tragic and fatal accident. He had been taken to Westway by the Fire Department. The care and compassion shown by Dr. Korol et al. was exceptional. Since 2011, I have used Dr. Korol's services for a number of rescues. As I have gotten to know him and his staff, I cannot emphasize how incredible the services have continued to be. I have also come to learn about Dr. Korol's community committment to promote the welfare of animals, expressed by his generous donation of services and money to animal causes. They give smiles all around and will recommend the best option when it comes to your pet's treatment. They deliver quality service for their monetary value and do not recommend what is not needed. It was a Sunday morning when Riley was not looking. We call Westway Animal Clinic and they got Riley in as soon as possible. Dr.Korol explained all our options and listened to our concerns. The staff was very supportive and Riley was in excellent hands. The end result was Riley is home and doing better. We have our little puppy back. The staff also called to see how Riley's progress was going. They were there for Riley. Very professional staff and compassionate. The clinic is also extremely clean.
