Switch to Norwest Animal clinic years back after another clinic in the area was not very helpful or accommodating. It was the best thing to happen! Over the years I have worked with each veterinarian and they have looked after 4 cats and my dog that have had/have. Soon I will be taking my second dog into them and know they will take great care of him. All the staff have been great to me and my pets. Thank you. Read Less

Dr. Dan and the entire staff at Nor west animal clinic are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable.I wouldn't dream of taking my pets anywhere else. They go above and beyond to accommodate you. both my husband and I have disabilities and they have always been wonderful to us and everyone I know gets the best service there. I'm not sure how the review below me could feel this way as anyone who goes to Dr. Dan or any of the other vets would I'm sure disagree - I have a hard time believing the review below. When I begged him to accommodate my disability the dr said a lot of disrespectful things and basically banned me. I wish I had known then that it is actually illegal to refuse to accommodate the needs of disabled people, aside from being immoral. But as if I'd trust my babies to some jerk I would have had to sue to get him to serve us. It was pretty scary not having a vet but then I found out that one is allowed to bring pets across the border! So my pets were able to receive care again, in the American side of our bordertown. This refusal of service happened about 2y back but I was too upset about it to talk about the matter for ages which is why I'm only reporting it now. The same guy still runs the place though, and he never did reach out to apologize, so I'm sure the same discrimination continues to happen. Perhaps some day when he retires and the junior partner takes over it will be better.As for the actual service (if you're allowed it, hah!) he just did the bare minimum. Our new vet is brimming with enthusiasm for her work and teaches us tons of useful tips every time we visit, and has given us ideas for ways to improve chronic problems Nor-west's "Dr Dan" just shrugged off. Even if you're cool with ableists give this place a pass for the sake of your pets. The service across the river is way better. Read Less
