These guys always go above and beyond. They surpass my expectations every time I go. I had been through 7 different vets, 6 when I lived in Mississauga, and 1 here in Georgetown. GAC has always kept me coming back, be it the friendly staff, their honesty, or the great prices(like not charging me a full fee for a 2 second visit, etc). Although our visit to the clinic was a terribly sad one, there are no words to express how thankful we are for the amazing staff that assisted in putting down our beloved cat. I've been going since 2008. They always come through for my dog and go the extra mile. They've saved my dog a few times, always compassionate, honest and realistic with a focus on quality of life. Thanks Dr. Jessica for a really wonderful visit! Basil felt totally happy and at ease during his whole appointment and really loved the snuggles and treats. (We don't think he even knows that he got shots!) Basil eats an alternative diet, and Dr Jessica was very accepting, with the opinion that he is a beautiful, healthy dog so whatever we are doing is obviously working for Basil. I was always very skeptical about going to a vet for my dog Bella, but the office here was so accommodating, friendly and most importantly I was able to TRUST them. I cant even begin to describe our experience with Georgetown animal clinic. I can try but it wont even begin to touch on the excellent customer service provided by their caring vets and staff. Besides the fact that this clinic is super clean and friendly, they really give you their full attention and never make you feel rushed. When I got my first kitten, Evan was so kind and patient as I asked every single question I could think of. He even returned my call on a Sunday when i was in a pet panic. When we found out our beloved retriever had cancer, Amanda sat on the floor with us while we tried to take it in and she answered every one of our questions. She helped us figure out the right plan and really made us feel like we were in good hands. When it was finally time to put him down, Amanda came to our home. She had blood on her clothes and had obviously come from a rough day but she never once made us feel like we weren't super important to her. She explained everything very thoroughly and was sooo patient during our personal sobbing goodbyes (for like 5 mins may I add). Finally they were quick to have him cremated and sent back to us with personalized sympathy note and paw prints. My mom said Evan even may have shed a tear when she went to pay. May I also add that during these difficult times money is a tough topic, one they never even raised until it was appropriate, some other vets start off with how much this will cost you. Honestly the most personal service, they make you feel like you are part of their pet family and we couldnt have asked for more. thank you all for making our difficult times a little easier. I would not trust anyone but Dr. Kara with my Huey! We have a lab, who is a lemon, if anything could go wrong has gone wrong, but, I must say that Dr. Kara fixed him. We went to 2 other vets before taking him to Georgetown, and even though I live in toronto and it is a 45 minute drive, I will not go anywhere else, plus the staff are wonderful as well. Thank you ! Our profound thanks goes out to Evan Freeman who met me at the clinic after hours on Wednesday night to assess Garfield who was in distress. He admitted him and while we were hopeful we could fix his problem, an xray revealed a large mass blocking the colon and pressing on the bladder. For a 17+ year old cat with 3rd stage kidney failure, a heart murmur and arrythmia this was the indication that his time had come. As always the care was thorough, respectful and compassionate. Garfield crossed the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by love. He is reunited with his beloved Mathilda.
