The just want your money. They misdiagnosed my dog after charging for a blood test and thousands in medication. They obviously didn't do the blood test because when my dog collapsed a few weeks later and I had to take him to the emergency, they found the problem immediately and said it would have been shown in the blood test they supposedly did. They are thieves, arrogant and do not care. IF you do not pay them they will threaten to have your dog taken away. They will not allow you to take their scripts to anyone else. They are not a real Animal Hospital. They have very short weekend hours (Saturday only) and have no emergency or overnight care. They are a surgical clinic only. Avoid Blair at all costs. Go to Altavista or Ottawa Vet Hospital on Carling. Read Less

I was deeply touched yesterday when I receive a letter from the SPCA in Ottawa stating that Blair Animal Hospital had made a donation in the name of my beloved Maxie, black lab that is in doggy heaven as of Sept. 21, 2016. Maxie was 15 years old and she brighten my day for 13 years. Dr Jen and the staff were so 'professional' at a very difficult time. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give it to Dr. Eddy Beltran -- the best vet in Ottawa. I have used his services for over 30 years and during that time he has been kind, compassionate not only towards my pets but to me as well. I highly recommend Dr. Beltran as well as the rest of the staff of Blair Animal Hospital. If you are looking for a vet clinic go and see them.Read Less

I am so happy I found Dr. Beltrand! He litterally saved my dogs life! The staff at the hospital are exceptional. You will not find better care for your pet. Just want to thank Dr Sean Walter and his team at Blair Animal Hospital, the accute attention to detail cannot be matched by anyone else, our Great Dane had a serious heart condition and Dr Walter provided exemplary care for him as a puppy right up to the very end. I like my vet Dr Finsten , so much I followed her from another another animal hospital. They are so good, patient, very knowledgeable. They have taken care of all 4 of my cats. I would like to thank Jen and everyone else that took part in the care of my iguana Cyprus. We came all the way from Kingston to receive the best care possible. She unfortunately had to have a partial toe amputation. Everyone that I met was awesome!
