We have been visiting the Riverside South Animal Hospital for almost 4 years now and I can’t say enough good things about the care they have given my dog. I have had nothing but good experiences with the care that I have received from both of the Veterinarians and all of their support staff. The care they have provided for my dog is nothing but amazing. I came there with a dog with a lot of issues and now have a dog who still needs a lot of care but his life is 1000 times better.
I can’t say enough good things about this animal hospital and recommend it to everyone who has animals.

It's odd how they don't even say hello when you enter... One needs to speak up first before you're acknowledged...odd... Like clients are coming in for the clinic's benefit or something. Thank goodnes...
It's odd how they don't even say hello when you enter... One needs to speak up first before you're acknowledged...odd... Like clients are coming in for the clinic's benefit or something. Thank goodness I only have to pop in occasionally for food.

Dr. Sherri Dennett is an outstanding veterinarian. I say this from many years of experiencing her services with multiple dogs and cats. She is, of course knowledgeable. Nevertheless, she readily consults others in her field if she believes that would benefit the outcome. But, she does so much more. First of all, she listens. Then she takes ample time to explain the pros and cons of all options. She is gentle and compassionate with the animal; considerate and respectful with the owner. I recommend her services most highly and without reservation.

We have been to see Dr.Fitch for two days and a dermoid cyst removal. Also brought one of our dogs for a TPLO surgery. The staff is great... very patient and helpful. Dr.Denette has her own quirky way...
We have been to see Dr.Fitch for two days and a dermoid cyst removal. Also brought one of our dogs for a TPLO surgery. The staff is great... very patient and helpful. Dr.Denette has her own quirky way of doing things but they both definitely have the animals beat interest.

I found they were good in terms of taking care of my dog's injury but you have to question everything they recommend cause they will try to get you to buy every possible "care" treatment they have. They got me to pay for their laser treatment which I thought was required but later found out was totally not. Services are really expensive as it is, not going to the vet to get dog aroma therapy like overpriced services

We have an "at risk" cat, as he is fixated on eating things he shouldn't and every experience we've had here is amazing! Dr. Dennett is one of the best in the biz and I trust her with my life (and my cat's). Has never tried to push anything or upsell. When we were once delivered with bad news, she was with us the whole way discussing options within our budget (he's all okay now!). We live about 30 minutes from the hospital but it's the only one we go to.

Both Dr. Dennet and Dr. Fitch are exceptional veterinarians and have always been very kind and sensitive to us through 3 cats over the years. The clinic and technicians/staff are congenial and well-informed. They have always followed up with us to check on how our cat is doing after any visits or procedures. The only issue I have is a couple of their shelf items are much more expensive than at other animal hospitals in Ottawa. I would recommend this hospital and add that you may want to shop the price for any items bought off the shelf.

What started out as a good experience ended badly for our family. We were misled and quoted for services that were not fully rendered.Unfortunately, aside from causing financial strain, our dog did not receive his entire procedure (as quoted) and now will have to go without. My advice: Do your homework and stay away from this clinic.

We have had a plethora of pets who were patients at the Riverside South Animal Hospital, and the staff and doctors at the clinic were always willing to work with us for solutions that first best met the welfare of our furry friends, and secondly were within a budget we could afford. On the three occasions where it was time to send one of our beloved pets to "pet Heaven", the doctors treated patient and human "parents" with the utmost compassion and dignity.

We have been visiting the Riverside South Animal Hospital for almost 4 years now and I can’t say enough good things about the care they have given my dog. I have had nothing but good experiences with the care that I have received from both of the Veterinarians and all of their support staff. The care they have provided for my dog is nothing but amazing. I came there with a dog with a lot of issues and now have a dog who still needs a lot of care but his life is 1000 times better.
I can’t say enough good things about this animal hospital and recommend it to everyone who has animals.

Dr. Sherri Dennett is an outstanding veterinarian. I say this from many years of experiencing her services with multiple dogs and cats. She is, of course knowledgeable. Nevertheless, she readily consults others in her field if she believes that would benefit the outcome. But, she does so much more. First of all, she listens. I found they were good in terms of taking care of my dog's injury but you have to question everything they recommend cause they will try to get you to buy every possible "care" treatment they have.
