I just went and paid bill for my daughters cat to be put down for a 90 minute visit just over 1000.00 dollars. My young daughter was told about 1000.00 to save cat that she loved. You took a blood sample to look under microscope very cheap to do.Gave cat a cathedral also very inexpensive. My daughter was than told worst urinary track infection you had seen and nothing you could do their and could send to Toronto if wanted to spend a lot more. She than said no as told good chance cat would not survive. You should have told her from beginning that cat should be put down. My point is you charge my daughter 1000.00 dollars for a 90 minute visit no surgery and very little cost to Cornell vet.You should have in the least cut her bill in half since you told her their was nothing you could do there. You do the math on what you charged per hour 650.00 a hour with no surgery and little cost to you.I'm sorry but you should be ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of someone when they are upset.Never again will I visit your animal hospital and will make sure to tell everyone I know with a sick animal to go anywhere but here.Russ. I came here because my older dog had back pain and I wanted to assessment and laser therapy. Although the vet was smart and answered my questions, the laser therapy provided was for 1/2 of the time quoted, the pain meds were priced 400% of their online price, and the secretary wouldn't submit my claim online, meaning I had to spend 42 minutes after to do it myself. The dosage given is also significantly below the recommended amount, and my dog has is still seemingly in pain. Read Less
