If you value your pets life, please stay away from this business. They almost killed my little 10 year old dog twice at a cost of $7120.00 We where told that they would no longer be able to give our little dog the pain medication which they made her addicted to without having a nose to tail examination. We asked to make an appointment with a Vet not a registered technician to discuss this policy (at which time the vet could have examined our little sweetheart with us being present). We got a nasty novel sized e-mail from one of the receptionists saying that we had received 3 examinations at a reduced rate (basically calling us cheapskates). All we asked for was a sit down with a vet to discuss a few of our concerns at which time they could have done the examination. I went in to the office ask the receptionist why she would send such a humiliating e-mail, at which point mother superior jumped up and spread her arms standing 2 inches away from my face telling me that I would have to leave as there where sensitive matters going on all the time she was that close to my face she was spewing spit in my face. When I asked her to get a vet she said they are all busy with sensitive matters, low and behold a vet appears out of a sensitive matter area and asked if she could help me. Needless to say we moved to a better Veterinary Clinic. So just saying if you rock the boat at Victoria Road Animal Hospital you are going to be humiliated and ignored and left out in the cold.

Staff is personable and friendly to everyone who comes in the door. Follow up phone calls are a regular policy.

We have been going to Victoria Rd Animal Hospital for the past 10 years. Always had a good experience. Dr Harris was knowledgeable, and professional. The staff was always accommodating, and friendly. When it was time to make some tough decisions regarding my pet they were very compassionate.

Victoria Road Animal Hospital is amazing. Dr. Harris is great with dogs and rabbits. I started going there because I was looking for a great place in Guelph to bring my rabbits. I have been more than happy and have referred others with rabbits to him as well.
Dr. Harris and staff are always so friendly and wonderful. He is the type of vet I want caring for my pets; I always feel like the health and happiness of them are his number one priority. He is patient, caring and thorough. The number of times he has gone above and beyond is so appreciated. I can't say enough about how wonderful he and his staff are.
I trust him so much with my rabbits that, although I now live in Ottawa, I return to Guelph to bring them to him.

After 20 years looking for a perfect vet, I found one. The costs are reasonable, the clinic is well-equipped, stocked, clean, and accessible. The staff are friendly, and do follow-up call on all visits. Dr. Harris is great. He is a calm and thorough examiner, and he gives excellent advice and treatment. There is another vet there who is also very nice, and a dental professional also who did a fantastic job on my kitty's teeth.

After 20 years looking for a perfect vet, I found one. The costs are reasonable, the clinic is well-equipped, stocked, clean, and accessible. The staff are friendly, and do follow-up call on all visits. Dr. Harris is great. He is a calm and thorough examiner, and he gives excellent advice and treatment. There is another vet there who is also very nice, and a dental professional also who did a fantastic job on my kitty's teeth.

If you value your pets life, please stay away from this business. They almost killed my little 10 year old dog twice at a cost of $7120.00 We where told that they would no longer be able to give our little dog the pain medication which they made her addicted to without having a nose to tail examination.
