Dr Liston has been my vet for around 30 years now. He is always polite and caring towards my pets as well as pets, he is very intelligent and has a great knowledge of animal care. I trust Dr Liston with total care of my pets more than any other vet I have met, he is number one for the care of my pets.

Horrible customer service! I had an appointment to see Dr Liston and ended up seeing some cranky vet named Dr Van Krinigen (not sure how to spell the name ) she was extremely rude and cocky with me. Wanted to give my 18 year old indoor cat a rabies shot before she helped my cat today!!!! Are you kidding me???? My cat had her rabies shot when she was young!!!! My cat suffers from inflation of the bladder due to anxiety This has been an ongoing issue for years now. Dr Liston was always great to help my kitty out when she would get a flare up and he wouldn't try to add extra exams that weren't necessary just to make money off me. Unfortunately some of his other vets that work there only care about making money off vulnerable people that love their pets! Those kind of vets SHOULD be ashamed of themselves. I have transferred my pets files to a different vet. Will no longer go to Liston animal hospital due to the horrible service I received today thanks to Dr Van Krinigen! Shame on you!!!!!
If you read the history of my now deceased cat she had all her vaccines up to date!!!!!!! I NEVER EVER had this issue before when I had appointments with Dr Liston. Thank heavens I found the most amazing vet after the awful experience I had at Liston Animal Hospital. The new clinic I took my sweet Shelby to ACTUALLY tried everything to help her because she was in pain! NOT worried about if she had a recent rabies shot!!!!! They were so kind to me and not interested in making money off me when I was in a vulnerable state.They ACTUALLY care about the pet AND the owner!!!!UNLIKE DR KRINIGEN that ACTUALLY let me walk out KNOWING my cat was suffering all because she wanted to see if her vaccines were up to date for an INDOOR 18 year old cat who ONLY lived with 2 other INDOOR cats and NO dogs!!!!!!! PATHETIC!!!!! MY pets files HAVE been transferred thank god!!!!!

Great vet clinic. We went there for a 2nd opinion when the 1st vet told us our cat had jaw cancer and she'd be dead in les than 2 months in a very cold manner. Our neighbours/friends recommend Liston so we took our cat for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Marianna was the greatest. She walked us through options and made recommendations. She even called us at 8 p.m. on her drive home because she was thinking about our case. What a great feeling knowing they love our pets as much as we do. Dr. Mariana followed up Monday morning as she promised with a recommendation to a Cat Cancer treatment appt if we so wanted to explore that avenue. When we call for an appt. that Clinic said they already had our cat's file and had spoken with Dr. Marianna. We can't say enough good things about the Liston Animal family.

When I moved to Ottawa I interviewed 5 vets and Dr Liston was far and away the best. He has a very practical approach to medicine and doesn't push for a unecessary tests or medicines. I have seen other vets at this practice and they are all good. Uo to date on the latest treatments, caring and thorough exams, all questions answered and reasonable prices. I drive 30 minutes across town to go here. There are lots of closer vets but none nearly as good!

Just got back from the vet they did not have my appointment that I booked 3 weeks ago. I did not get to see doctor Liston who's the one I usually go to see he is an amazing vet.. The front receptionist is not friendly she looks like she hates her job, Never smiles . yes I'm happy that they fit me in they took my dog in the back for a nail clipping and I can hear him screaming. Not sure that going back .

Very affordable for a vet and we are very grateful to have found them. No unnecessary or expensive procedures or products pushed onto you. They have always been able to take us for emergencies on the same day and never charge extra. They also seem to care a lot about the animal and the owner compared to other vets and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Highest recommendation to Liston Animal Hospital for everything they do.

Not only does he care about the animals but he also works with your budget very closely as vet bills are not cheap. Shows they aren't just in it for the money. As well I don't have a car and I have to Uber to him and he is worth every penny! Highly recommend this animal hospital!

I love this vet. The vets and techs know what they are doing, and there number one priority is to make sure your pet gets better. They are very up front with any cost that would be involved, and always ask you first, before they go ahead. They also make sure you understand the cost involved and what it will do. They are a low cost Vet, who does not charge you for every tiny thing they do, and are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Lalonde is the vet I normally deal with, and she goes above and behind the call of duty for a vet. She has responded to my questions about my cat, via email on a day she is not working. If you are looking for a inexpensive vet, that is also very good at what they do, then this the place to go. Rest assured your pet will be well taken care of, and they won't mislead you, or try to get you to pay for unnecessary procedures or medication.

When I moved to Ottawa I interviewed 5 vets and Dr Liston was far and away the best. He has a very practical approach to medicine and doesn't push for a unecessary tests or medicines. I love Liston Animal Hospital. I always deal with Dr. Steve Liston and he is absolutely lovely. Not only does he care about the animals but he also works with your budget very closely as vet bills are not cheap. Shows they aren't just in it for the money. As well I don't have a car and I have to Uber to him and he is worth every penny! Highly recommend this animal hospital!

I love this vet. The vets and techs know what they are doing, and there number one priority is to make sure your pet gets better. They are very up front with any cost that would be involved, and always ask you first, before they go ahead. They also make sure you understand the cost involved and what it will do. They are a low cost Vet, who does not charge you for every tiny thing they do, and are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Lalonde is the vet I normally deal with, and she goes above and behind the call of duty for a vet. She has responded to my questions about my cat, via email on a day she is not working. If you are looking for a inexpensive vet, that is also very good at what they do, then this the place to go. Rest assured your pet will be well taken care of, and they won't mislead you, or try to get you to pay for unnecessary procedures or medication.
