Today I had to go to a different vet then my cat was a custom to as they couldn’t fit us in for a week and my cat needed to be seen as I was pretty sure she had a abscess on her tail. I called Dalton Road Vet and without question they gave us an appointment. The greeting on the phone was beyond expectations and same as when I arrived at the office! Unfortunately my cat was so distressed that she ended up peeing in her carrier on the way there and this had never happened to h...er with previous trips to the vet. Without hesitation, they got her in a room, out of the carrier and went to clean it for me. This in my opinion was such a nice caring thing to do as I was going to ask for paper towel to wipe it out. Dr. McNeil was fantastic. He checked everything on my cat Muffin and was very gentle with her as she was in some serious discomfort. He explained everything to me in terms that wouldn’t be confusing. He even found a heart murmur that I had no idea about and showed me her teeth which will need attention down the road. He treated her with an antibiotic injection because it was an infected abscess and sent us on our way with antibiotics for at home recovery. The costs that were advised to me on the phone were exactly what I got when I went to leave and pay. I was never forced to have extra services although the things that will need attention down the road were explained to me and this made me feel confident in my cats health overall! My dog has been sick since October. Numerous vet visits but he never really got back to himself, finally got feed up switched clinics. Dalton road vet clinic examed my dog well I was in the room! Did tests no one else did. Called me later to tell me results and ask how he was doing and requested follow ups to ensure he is doing better and keeps doing better. My dog is back to his old self once again , very happy with the service and results . Read Less
