Milo just had his teeth cleaned by Dr Morrison. They were so full of plaque and tartar build up, I wasn’t sure they would come clean. But they are sparkling white and they look fantastic! Thank you for doing such a great job, and as a bonus, Milo no longer has bad breath! And the after care was great from the support staff. Thanks again

Best place in Kingston to get you vasanations but I ended up paying over $11.00 for one half of a de warming pill so look out.

Kind, caring, and attentive vets and support staff. Couldn't ask for a better clinic. Fair prices and friendly faces. I always know my dogs are in good hands at Barriefield.

My four year old cat has a very rare condition (EPI) and would not be alive today it if it weren't for the efforts of Dr. Edwards and the entire team. Dr. Edwards went above and beyond, consulting spe...
My four year old cat has a very rare condition (EPI) and would not be alive today it if it weren't for the efforts of Dr. Edwards and the entire team. Dr. Edwards went above and beyond, consulting specialists, calling labs, and doing research to figure out what was wrong with our cat. We never received a bill for all this effort. She clearly laid out which tests were most urgent, which could wait, and recommended the most cost-effective tests to try to rule out possible diagnoses before moving on to the more expensive tests. When we finally received a diagnosis, she spent a lot of time working with a specialist in Toronto to come up with a treatment plan and researching special foods (kangaroo meat). Always available by email and phone, the team was quick to answer our questions, checked in with us frequently, and taught us to administer medications at home, even though it took a few visits for us to master the techniques.Now that we have left Kingston, we are struggling to find a new vet as competent and compassionate as Dr. Edwards. The team at Barriefield sets a very high bar.

I chose Barriefield Animal Hospital a few months ago when I got a new puppy. My experience has been great so far, and I highly recommend them. This clinic was recommended to me by many other pet owners in my neighbourhood. All the staff are very caring and honest. They definitely treat your pet like family! Thank you.

As someone who works in the animal profession, I entrust my animals in the care of Barriefield Animal Hospital/Boarding services. When I need a place for my fur family to stay, The Smart, Dedicated, Caring Staff of BAH always have my animals best interest in mind. I highly recommend BAH to anyone looking for a clean facility and peace of mind while on their travels.

Be forewarned. This is the most expensive and least competent grooming service I have ever experienced. Miniature Schnauzer cost $79.10. If you leave your dog with them, write down every detail of how you want it groomed. I have never seen such a misinterpretation of instruction and when they were asked to make what corrections were necessary to give me remotely what I wanted, they again totally acted counter to my instructions. In current vernacular it would be termed a cluster f * * *.
