Our dog was quite ill for several weeks, and despite multiple tests and exams with our regular veterinarian, no issue could be identified. The Kingston Regional Pet Hospital was able to see her quickly one night when her health was declining and they were able to identify other ideas for testing and treatment. They communicated a possible treatment plan with our regular veterinarian and our dog's health is finally improving. I'm not sure a plan for my pup would have happened so quickly without the intervention of the Kingston Regional Pet Hospital. Read Less

I don’t normally do reviews but I’m beyond pissed and want you to know.
We brought our dog in on the Saturday night of the long weekend because our normal vet was closed. He had had an allergic reaction and needed a antihistamine shot, which he got. The vet on that night was great. However the night before this he had eaten a foam ear plug. We didn’t think anything of it as he ate all kinds of stuff. A day later he eats and then vomits breakfast. Will barely touch dinner. Vomits again on the following morning (Monday) We bring him back (because our vet was still closed) spend $1400 on bloodwork and imaging. Tell the vet about the ear plug and was literally told “well I don’t see it in there it’s just inflammation. He’s fine. Just feed him rice and cooked beef, it’s a reaction to the Benadryl” so we take him home. He eats a little of that for dinner. Next day. Won’t eat at all. We bring him into our own vet on Wednesday morning. They used the imaging this place took on MONDAY and see a blockage. Take their own to verify where the earplug is then open him up to remove it. Inside our vet finds 12inches of strangulated bowel and they remove the ear plug but there wasn’t much else they could do and my dog FUCKING DIES that night in my wife’s arms. My dog suffered for 2 days after we brought him here because someone couldn’t read an X-ray. In fact he may still be alive if it had been done correctly. Our family is devastated over the loss. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a vet clinic.
Avoid this clinic at all costs. It's a full blown extortion racket. I own 3 animals two cats and a dog. All are in phenominal health both physically and mentally.
We found two kittens while cleaning out a condemned house. I was syringe feeding the kittens for almost two weeks. Nursing them from nearly dead (skin and bone) to excellent health.
My biological father is older and not very aware. He accidentally stepped on one of the kittens we found. We took her to the emergency vet thinking it would be the best thing to do.
Upon arrival they immediately prepared an estimate for $1500 dollars. We told them the cats had been found and we were not paying $1500 dollars to have three injections, 12 hours of emergency care and very high chance they euthanize the cat. All I wanted was the medication.
When we said we weren't looking to spend hundreds of dollars on a cat we found in a box in a condemned house. They proceeded to tell us that we were being inhumane and they were going to call the OSPCA.
I asked if they could give the cat the medication and I could take her so I could monitor myself rather then have her sitting in a cage and paying for their "emergency care". They gave her the medication as requested and we were finally allowed to leave.
They then proceeded to call the police and file a report to the humane society. All because I didn't want to pay them $1500 dollars to care for and potentially kill the kitten. These people are the definition of disgusting, I would highly recommend you avoid this clinic at all costs. The people do not care about the animals all they care about is money. The vet is a complete fool and the assistant is an extremely biased individual. It is clear they judge you based on your appearance and abuse their power.
The officer who showed up at my house had no comment and was happy with what we were doing as we are both pet lovers and it was apparent we take excellent care of our animals.
The clinic was clearly upset that we did not want to pay them for their service. They will call the police or OSPCA on you if you try to make decisions in regards to your animals. Based on the other reviews and my own experiences at this clinic its obvious the owner of this clinic has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars from people by preying upon them while in an emotional state.
Beware of this unethical overpriced service. I would reccomend reporting the vet to his governing body he should have his licence stripped.
For all the people out there who don't know how things work vet clinics are private businesses. The only reason why the bills are are expensive is because most vets are more concerned with making $250 to $500,000 a year then actually saving animals (kinda like doctors in the US). Even if you're paying $8000-10000 in rent for the retail space, you have staff and other expenses. Billing people in excess of $1500-3000 dollars for relatively basic services is unethical and should be illegal. I think we should all ask ourselves why Pet Care is more expensive then Healthcare? Why are my human antibiotics and medication is 1/8th the price of my animals medication? There are still a few honest vets with reasonable pricing I highly reccomend you do your research. Read Less

No broken bones, just a punctured muscle in the hind. If you care about your animals at all find a reputable vet that will do emergencies after hours and avoid this place at ALL costs. Paid 3100 and left that evening but we're called the next day and told our bill had a mistake and we owed another $600.
